Live broadcast coming up at 6:55pm: http://www.revolutionsoccer.net/

Not sure if it'll be video or just audio. Probably the latter.

Matchtracker: http://web.mlsnet.com/scoreboard/game.jsp?match=07012008_ZZZNE (Ignore the Rochester logo, the lineup is Richmond's)

Revs lineup (formation based on what I've seen at reserve games):

    ---------Twellman - Mansally----------
    Tierney ------------------- Germanese
    ----------Phelan ---- Tyler-------------
    Hilgenbrinck - Valentino - Brill - Igwe
    -----------------Warren----------------

Bench: Knighton (GK), Larentowicz, Parkhurst, Castro, Nyassi, Manzonelli

The storms look bad but should pass quickly. So much for the idea it could be a sell out.

    Revs blog has these lineups:

    New England Revolution

    Doug Warren
Rob Valentino — Sam Brill — Amaechi Igwe — Chase Hilgenbrinck
Joe Germanese — Pat Phelan — Brandon Tyler — Chris Tierney
    Taylor Twellman — Kenny Mansally

Bench: Brad Knighton, Mauricio Castro, Jeff Larentowicz, Brandon Manzonelli, Sainey Nyassi, Michael Parkhurst

Although, I'd venture to guess that Valentino and Igwe should be swapped.

    As for the opponents...

    Richmond Kickers

    Ronnie Pascale
Trevor McEachrom — Kelvin Jones — Anthony Catalono — Evan Harding
Mike Burke — Luke Vercollone — Stanley Nyazamba — Sascha Gorres
    David Bulow — Adrian Bumbut

Bench: Mark Murphy, Ralph Pace, Freddie Smith, Adam Chavez, Ian Bennett

Anyone know anything about the kickers. Are they a good side or are we looking at a one sided match?

Brad says kickoff in about 25 min. I'm glad the Revs broadcast people have good music taste.

So, how long do we expect Twellman to play? I imagine this is just a warm up for Friday when he shows Donovan how a real goal-scorer operates. ;)

Maybe a half? Not too long, especially with a wet pitch.

Anyone else find it odd Nyassi is on the bench but no Thompson?

Depending on field condition, I'd like to see a full half. Maybe 60 minutes for Friday. Hopefully able to go the distance come Superliga time.

Nah, the bench is people we want to be able to bring in if the game starts going poorly.

US Open Cup games when it's MLS vs non-MLS are always tremendously over physical, right? I see why Nicol only has one of his starting eleven out there, but must it be newly recovered Twellman? I'm nervous...:(

Yeah, they tend to be physical when it's not MLS/MLS.
