PSV Eindhoven may not be a done deal, if the British club can play spoiler! Reported by English Paper: Tuesday 13 July 2004 Beasley - fit as a fiddle and ready to go SAINTS target DaMarcus Beasley proved he is a man of steel at the weekend - by playing two games back-to-back! Saints yesterday confirmed they are still in negotiations to try and secure the services of Beasley for the forthcoming season. http://www.thisishampshire.net/hampshire/southampton/sport/SOTON_SPORT_THESAINTS3.html
Re: 06/13 news reports Southhampton Beasley Has a bidding war actually broken out? Again, if the sale is indeed close, kudos to MLS and Beasley.
Well if he does somehow end up at Southampton it will be better for us who want to see him play once in a while since there's no Dutch league on Fox next year. He won't see much EUFA at Southhampton, however.
Uh, your link doesn't work (wrong article) But if it is a link to the same article that's been printed on 2 other threads...well... It sounds like a desperate attempt by some S'hampton fans to get their club to react to a situation that they either were never serious enough about (didn't negotiate) or they are simply too late. Either way, PSV going to get this now..
British sources original link: http://www.thisishampshire.net/hampshire/southampton/sport/SOTON_SPORT_THESAINTS8.html Latest News Link from same news source: http://www.thisishampshire.net/hampshire/southampton/sport/SOTON_SPORT_THESAINTS0.html Wednesday 14 July 2004 PSV PRIMED TO NAB BEASLEY TIME IS running out for Saints to capture DaMarcus Beasley with Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven hoping to sign the USA international by the weekend
I's rather he end at PSV Eindoven because in several years he might be on Chelsea or Manchester United.
dude, that article is LAME. It says nothing. It says nothing about S'Hampton moving a finger or having a chance. It is like Seinfeld, "a show about nothing", etc..
