    33rd minute, still scoreless.

Larentowicz got hurt early and was replaced by Twellman. Good to see him back.

36th minute, 1-0 for the bad guys. Fred with the goal.

Emelio was offside on the initial shot and collected the garbage off the resulting misclear before passing off to Fred. :(

Our best game of the year so far. Unfortunately that's still not enough.

It's been a really fun game to watch though.

Fred's goal was pretty, and since the post was hit twice before we can't say DC wasn't "due"... still, damn it, still....

    Great crowd! Group night? ;)

Was supposed to be taking a few work friends, but all decided to bail on me on Thursday, so I didn't have a way to get there since I'm afraid to drive my car further than home - work. See if I ever invite them anywhere again

Twellman going in sure made a difference. Two great snap headers on frame by Twellan. Tierney should have put his chance away. Alston made a nice run/attack and shot on goal. We finally have something approaching an attack.

DCU sure has a potent attack.

Twellman should learn that if you're setting a pick, it helps to be the size of Shaq, not a Suffolk Downs jockey.

Real weak call. Better for us then against us, though.

Soft call on the penalty, though if he hadn't been holding Twellman in the first place (no matter how lightly) the linesman/ref would never have thought about calling that when Taylor went down.

The Revs definately deserved something, especially as we were the better team for most of the second half, thankfully it was us with the late goal and not them.

Twellman on Revs Wrap had it right, the one before probably should have been a PK. I think there was a bit of a make up call there.

Good game from the Revo. Twellman is a difference-maker. It's not just that he's better than Dube et al., but he makes other people amazingly better -- particularly the Gambians, but also Shalrie, who can play more of his natural position.

Phelan is usually thought of as a spare part, but I thought he had a pretty solid game tonight. Took a pair for the team, gave a pair for the team.

    Tierney not so much.

The Ref(s) by and large made a bunch of poor calls with the Revs getting the short straw but that PK call was a legit call that evened the slate. With DCU were usually on the losing end of those calls. I guess over time the odds even out.

The team finally looked like a team that s=can socre and win games. Twellman made everyone look better. I guess he is a difference make. :)

Not trying to stir the pot here, but why should that have been a PK? Wicks came out and made the save. What you had was two tough players going for the ball. No PK there. Had Wicks not gotten a solid save, then by all means that would have been a PK.

Also, just wondering what Brad Feldman thought of the penalty. I was getting the DC telecast and as you can imagine, they thought it was a terrible call.

Wicks never touched the ball but got a lot of Twellman. That should have been a PK.

I thought the first one was a PK, or more typically deserving of a PK, because after Wicks made the save I thought he gave Twellman a two handed shove. Granted each one of those plays is probably a 50/50 call. I think the Revs got one out of two.

Funny though that Twellman shot the ball into Wicks and it hit Wicks before the contact between the two.........................and and as usual Twellamn fell down.
