Match is just getting underway. Here's our starting lineup:

Shuttleworth - Alston, Gibbs, Osie, Sinovic - Smith, Joseph, Phelan, Colaluca - Dube, Schilawski

Guys? Guys? Relax, I'm sure it's just a pre-season stint...you know he's helping us out with all our injuries. C'mon, I'm sure they're not re-signing him. Right?

Looks like they are lining up like this:

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Dube, Schilawski, Colaluca, Joseph, Phelan, Smith, Sinovic, Gibbs, Osie, Alston, Shuttleworth[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

Alston and Gibbs are only expected to play 45.

I'm really starting to wonder. It would appear he's getting a trial anyway, otherwise why bring him to Florida?

8' Schilawski runs onto cross from Smith, but his shot goes high in either teams' first chance of game.

I'm not nearly as down on Khano as most on this board. I think you could make a case that he was as good as, if not better, then just about all of our other wide midfield options. He does it in an ugly way, it's embarrassing to watch most of the time, but he's usually good for a few good attacking plays/game. The problem I have with him is that we need someone better then that. We've already got six or 7 midfielders at that level. If the coaches would prefer Khano to any of our other midfielders then SJ, I could care less - go ahead and keep him. But please get someone better as well.

Because we don't exactly have many other players to bring along. For all we know, he could be paying his way through this trial, which happens a lot. A player will contact a team and basically say "if I show up at x time, can I get a trial?"

Interesting to see Boggs get a run out at right back. Most likely due to our lack of depth behind KA.

I don't disagree. I think Khano did ... well, OK here. He had some great moments, but many more rather embarrassing ones. But he did more than Mansally and Nyassi did last year (cue the "but they're still young" argument).
    Isn't that the problem???

Is Boggs playing right or left back? Your post says one thing and your lineup image says another.
