Yes, I am upset. We fluked a win against Qatar in the 96th minute. We scored a 97th minute equalizer against Lebanon. Uzbekistan scored an own goal. We were two goals away from being knocked out of the direct qualification spot. This is nothing short of disgraceful.

Do I blame KYG for the goal? Of course. It's the same sort of mind-blank mistake that Lee Young Pyo made against Iran a few years back. Before that blunder though, he was one of our better players (albeit hardly tested by the Iranian offense). There are much larger and fundamental reasons why we lost today.

I don't know who I made the wager with. But whoever told me that LDG was one of the "most feared strikers" in Asia needs to come forward and have a slice of humble pie. I was. It went from 1-0 Qatar to 1-1, then creeped to 5-1. As a side note, I'm always astounded at how our commentators such as Cha Bum Kun can keep their cool and say encouraging things about our players/performance through such frustrating times.
