Sweden 3 - Brazil 1 Debinha 50', Rytting-Kaneryd 65', Hurtig 67', Blackstenius 89'. Sweden wins a friendly against Brazil this evening with 3-1 after an extremely lethargic first 60 minutes. Brazil wasn't much better the first hour either but their counter-attacks were much more dangerous than the constant and predictable Swedish attacks on the right flank. Sweden switched it up in the 64th minute putting Rytting-Kaneryd, Schough and Blackstenius into the mix. This gave immediate dividends with Sweden's Lauren Hemp (Kaneryd) dribbling thru the Brazilian defense and lacing the ball into goal. 2 minutes later Schough broke loose on the left side and delivered a perfect cross to Hurtig who headed the ball by Lorena in goal. Blackstenius lobbed the final score over Lorena after being set-up by the beautiful one-touch play of Kaneryd and the late sub Blomqvist. Obviously, this was a friendly where Sweden was testing formations and saving players that are not yet up to form (Blackstenius) or overworked (Seger) but it took the last 30 minutes to save their status as one of the favorites to win the Euros... Kaneryd's goal was her first NT goal.
