What did one skinny white dude say to the other skinny white dude after they fought and shook hands?

They shared some MP3 files of Rob Base!

Once upon a time there were 3 little piggies...one wanted goals, one wanted goals and style and one wanted to win in the break-out round of the world cup.

The matches against Belgium and France were break out round quality opponents on their own turf. If you are building for one particular moment in time, you damn well better prepare for it.

Anyone, and I mean anyone who has ever built anything from the ground-up knows you make sacrifices early on that will make your product or team or service better in the long run.

Right now JK is saying: we are not better than anyone, we are not better soccer players, we are not faster, we are not more talented. Can we still manufacture a win in those conditions?

That is what he is asking and that is what happens when you go up against Uruguay or Ghana or Germany in the break-out rounds. You accept you are the worse team, but can you manufacture the win?

With the quality in MLS we should be able to reach the WC with a 70% purely domestic squad.

Qualifiers last cycle came down to the wire. Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico and the US rarely gave up points at home. If we drop a couple games at home things become ify at best. If we draw Honduras or Costa Rica at home our job becomes much more difficult.

you seem to be undervaluing the difficulties of CONCACAF. While we are certainly deeper and more talented then a large number of CONCACAF teams out there, we still struggle with the likes of Guatemala at Guatemala. When was the last time we took points in Costa Rica? Mexico? We were fortunate to come out with a win against Honduras in Honduras last cycle to win the group. Playing on the road is difficult as is.

true enough. However, CONCACAF is improving. More and more players from all around CONCACAF are playing in MLS. A 70% MLS squad could make the match pretty much on equal terms as teams like Honduras, El Salvador, etc.. will also have plenty of MLS'ers mixed in with Euros and local league talent.

Nothing is certain these days

If JK $hits the bed during WCQ, as someone said, we always have LA BRUCE pulling double duty.
