While we are certainly deeper and more talented then a large number of CONCACAF teams out there, we still struggle with the likes of Guatemala at Guatemala. When was the last time we took points in Costa Rica? Mexico? We were fortunate to come out with a win against Honduras in Honduras last cycle to win the group. Playing on the road is difficult as is.
true enough. However, CONCACAF is improving. More and more players from all around CONCACAF are playing in MLS. A 70% MLS squad could make the match pretty much on equal terms as teams like Honduras, El Salvador, etc.. will also have plenty of MLS'ers mixed in with Euros and local league talent.
