Arda will thrive in the right system. Great left foot and extremely smart. Can provide the final ball with the best of them.

He's just not a Modric or deep lying playmaker. They need to stop it with that.

He is also only 20 years old. Some of you all are just miserable.

I think it’s too much too soon for Guler. He’s talented, without a doubt.

He would have benefited from playing at a mid table team getting reps.

Plus Me FC isn’t a place to nurture talent right now. He’s just a passenger in these matches.

when I’ve seen him play for Turkey he looks much more confident and assertive.

I dunno, he was doing pretty well when Jude was out. People tend to forget he and Mbappe were the driving force in attack at the beginning of the season.

He just needs a lot of time and development. It's ironic that people wanted Endrick loaned out but the two players with futures who needed to be loaned out the most were Arda and Franco

Endrick a the very least should have been given a chance as a right wing late game sub. He had the potential to fill that role by just using his speed and hard shot on counters. He also tracks back and puts in the defensive effort. This always puzzled me since it is not like anyone was playing well on the right side anyways.

He has to be in the starting line up. He has been our best player not including Mbappe throughout the whole season. Yes he's had stinkers but he's young and we just need to accept that as part of his development. No one else is close to him in terms of creativity and control in this team. He's a team player at least.

If he can get physically stronger then that will improve his game even more. People forget he is just 20 years old.

The problem is, Bellingham can't be benched or he'll run and cry to papa Flo.

Against low blocks he needs to start, no ifs or buts.

Arda has the best football IQ amongst our midfielders. Needs to start every game...only way for him to improve and for us to see what his true ceiling is. Nothing to lose, especially this season.

His composure and strength still need some improving.

He's 20 years old. By now i am convinced that if we'd have signed Kroos out of his Leverkusen stint he would have failed spectacularly and we would have never seen one of the game's greatest.

I am well aware of that, I just pointed out what he still needs to improve. Too many were quick to throw him under the bus after his mistake against Barcelona, as they did with Asencio, Gonzalo Garcia and Ramon.

some weaknesses for sure for a 20 year old. Normal.
My point is, this is the best scenario to "invest" in him. Let's see how he develops.
Rather watch him over this Camavinga and this Jude

I like Camavinga but at this point I think him and Tchouameni shouldn't be starting together when the team doesn't create nor pass well enough. Tchouameni is my pick and I'd rather see Arda develop. Cama is only 23 but it feels like he's been here forever and that he didn't improve one bit. He's also very injury prone.

Arda was our best player alongside Mbappe for a stretch of this season and they have the best chemistry in this squad so it should be a no brainer imo who to put our chips on.

People need to remember where Modric was when he was 20. Even in his mid 20s playing for Totenham and before coming here, he was playing mainly as AM.

I think we need to fully give Jude a run as the main AM with this kid behind him.

it gives Arda time to develop and it allows us to really figure out what works best with Jude.

i don’t think we can keep flip flopping because they really contrast in style

Arda’s biggest weakness right now is his lack of physicality. He needs to build strength and get used to the intensity, like Pedri did. That’s when we will see him taking a big step forward.

He's not quite so agile nor are his feet the quickest, that's why he has trouble with being pressed.
But the technical ability and vision for a pass are there, he's the best vertical passer in the team right now.

I'd add stamina. He seems to get gassed rather quickly.

From what i've read recently i thought, the players were lazy traitors, divas and rubbish who should be booed by the home fans, i guess it's just some of the players, clearly i can't keep up......

I also think this is one of his two major issues. For certain phases of the game, he constantly demands the ball, makes himself available, and wants to influence the play. His physicality has improved significantly, although there is still room for further development. He’s a player who regularly performs well against low-block teams because Real control the game and he can use that control to his advantage.

However, there are clear weaknesses that need to be addressed:

    • He doesn’t sustain his involvement consistently and tends to drift out of the game at times.

    • Against robust, high-pressing teams, he can become a pressing target.

    • In some games, he doesn’t dare to attempt the risky passes that usually define his game, possibly due to nervousness.
Despite that, Arda remains a unique player with outstanding vision and passing accuracy, especially when it comes through balls.
