Arda with a goal ever 65 mins and Yamal with a goal every 427 min. If Arda's name was Ardi he'd win LaLiga young player of the season

We found a gem and we weren’t even that hyped about it We can criticize Flo all we want but his approach to finding young talent while still sustaining success is remarkable
He hasn't played a single minute in the Champions League; that means he will not get a medal. He needs to make a cameo in the final.
I can't recall the last thing Flo did that deserved criticism. Hiring Lopetegui may be his last major fvck up.
This is a mental way to compare them and you know it. I remember when Morata had the best goal per minute ratio in Europe playing for us. Arda needs to play more and he might truly be better than Yamal in every single way but the sample size is tiny.
They must have changed it? Because in 2015 Barcelona players who did not play a single minute in the campaign had to return their medals. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...ingle-minute-in-the-competition-10307356.html This is the latest from UEFA-
🇹🇷 ‘Never seen as talented a player as Arda Güler from Turkey’ 🇹🇷@turkishsoccer says we are witnessing someone that his country has never been seen before, in the talent of Real Madrid’s GülerLink below 👇 👇https://t.co/i5DLoKdgwG #ArdaGüler | #güler | #türkiye | #türkçe pic.twitter.com/I8i1G8apTd— 🅜🅞🅝🅓🅔ⓈⓅⓄⓇⓉⒾⒻ (@mondesportifLDN) May 21, 2024
Yes, but Ozil and Gündogan were born in Germany and started their football career there and played for the NT. Arda was born and raised in Turkey and I agree with the guy. Probably their most talented Turk. You could just see he was special at a very young age.
Having seen Altintop and Turan, Guler is just another level as far as natural talent goes. Sahin looked special at Dortmund but things didn't go his way after that.
For me this is the important part, Arda looking special but i've only really seen him for Madrid, football looks very good and clearheaded in front of goal so far, if he can keep up that consistency when given mins and show up in the tougher games if given a decent chance then we really might have a gem on our hands
Sahin couldn't even cut it in the role Guler shone this season. He too had injury issues at the start and couldn't convince Mou for more miniutes though he was rotating in La Liga with the likes of Granero in the 100 points season. Sahin later talked about how RM pressure got to him mentally.
Most players who arrive at Madrid are talented. The most important attribute he needs is the right mentality. Without it he won't thrive here. Not just mentality to adjust to such a huge institution and team full of stars but mentality on the pitch. He "seems" he doesn't get too up or down, and it seems like the game is slow for him, he always seems to have that extra half second. This is a great sign. Sometimes you see young players on the pitch and everything looks rushed, like the pace and intensity is too much for them. I fully expected this to be the case with him but i've been pleasantly surprised. He doesn't look out of place out there, at all. Really good sign for the future.
Inb4 Turkish prince, arda24, AG4ever, ardafanatic and the rest of the nation come here to bring objectivity and balance to the discussion.
He's also very confident, noticed that in his very first game when he was fighting Ceballos for a free kick, then theres also the halfway line shot attempt that hit the bar. Kinda like VJ, talented and knows it.
Yes! That half field shot he attempted and almost pulled off showed that he has confidence in his ability. Such a good attribute to have at such a young age. Most youngsters aren't sure of themselves.
I'll agree he has skill that not many other Turkish name have displayed before. Anyway, Turkey has had players that make a name for themselves at the highest level, Hakan Suker, Emre Belozoglu, Basturk, Nihat Kahveci. Not to mention that Korea & Japan national team, it was iconic with Hasan Sas and Umit Davala.
What a team that 2002 world cup. Brazil needed a solo Golazo from the Fenomena himself to beat them. One of the teams i had belief in to go all the way alongside 98 Croatia.
