🗣 Luka Modrić: "Arda Güler is an extra talent, you could see it in the training sessions before the injury. His football will be spectacular. He has some skills with the ball that are special. He is a very nice guy, humble, modest and eager to learn." [SN] pic.twitter.com/HgJUCR9VUt— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) September 7, 2023 Toni Kroos: “Arda is a big talent, he has a fine left foot. Toni Kroos: It must be said that Arda Guler has great talent for his age. He has a very good left foot. It is better to use it. He has a great shot with his left foot, and is very good technically, especially in small spaces. I think it's a good and smart signing, especially for the future. He is one of those talents that asks {How do you do that?}. He wants instruction and advice. There are many 18-year-old players who think they are already so good that they don't need advice at all. But he has a learning mentality. Arda Guler has to be a little careful. The talent was also there with players who then did not commit. Especially in this club, there are other issues that determine whether a person is successful or not.
Maybe we can try 2 attacking midfielders against low-block teams with him and Bellingham filling that role.
All of this is Kroos quote, or the last part is your own comment? Arda for Rodrygo, can't wait to see this magician at work.
This is quite worrying, unless we're overloading his muscle training to A) get his repaired knee stronger and or B) to bulk him up a little.
Practically signed to pay the medical bills. SMH! Was he always injury prone before or just a one time thing?
Bale wasn't hurt much at Guler's age. I don't think its unusual to see teenagers getting hurt. Their bodies are growing and changing. Guler is getting used to a new level of training and environment. It sucks but I don't think there is any need to suggest this is how his career will go throughout his prime like Bale. We've got another 4 games and then he will probably be back after the international break.
If he is out with another injury after the 2nd one I'd be worried. Good thing he's on the cheaper side. It's Brahim time!
Sounds like this kid is either rushing his recovery or we are. Not sure why they aren’t sure he’s in good shape before they let him back in training.
At least he didn't cost €115 million to score 4 goals in as many seasons. You walked into that one! Anyways, I hope you're wrong about this one though. The kid looked very talented.
Who cares if they're injury prone before coming to Real Madrid? The end result is the same. It will take a lot for anybody to top the worst flop in Real Madrid history.
Let's be honest, I wouldn't want the kid entering the field after the Atletico game either. Let these players and Ancelotti right the ship so the kid can enter in a better situation.
