Yeah, Arsenal were like a 5th to 10th-place team in the seasons before Wenger joined. And people made fun of Wenger for taking a club at that level and not winning something regularly, even though they didn't spend much money on transfers.

Now they are back to a 5th to 10th-place team after Wenger is gone. Says a lot.

I remember the same thing happened with Bobby Robson at Newcastle. He kept getting them too four finishes but the fans were deluded that they were a big club and should do better. When he left, they saw how big their club really was.

I think what’s just as interesting is that no club has gone after Wenger. Or rather, he hasn’t accepted any offers. Perhaps his demands are too much (?)

Clubs like Barca and Real wanted him. Utd wanted to sign Wenger when Ferguson was planning to retire during the 2000s. It’s just that he was too loyal with Arsenal.

Guess its good that Atleti is beating Real Sociedad, but man does it ever bury Barca. Now 11 points behind Atleti with same # of games played!

Milan last unbeaten side among the top 5 UEFA leagues. How many would’ve guessed that before the season?

They are good. Hope they win Scudetto this season so Ronaldo's impact in Seriea would be immense. Break the Juventus winning cycle.

Atlanta still has a game in hand and could match Juve's point. Napoli also has a game in hand and could be ahead of Juve if they dont lose.

The whole team also play really well. Just score the fastest goal in Serie A history.

Joke aside, Juventus still can turn the table around. We all know their power:sneaky:

Let's recall too that Juve were controversially handed a 3-0 win over Napoli when Napoli couldn't travel due to some COVID-related issue. Juve also haven't yet played either of the Milan giants. So relatively soft schedule so far.

Maybe that's good for them as head-to-head matches is the fastest way to make up ground on teams ahead of you in the table, but could also mean they suck more than it shows so far in the table.

3rd La Liga match in-a-row that LPB score in the last minute of stoppage time to win by 2 goals.

Inter won narrowly. Both Milan are 9-10 points ahead of Juve now.

Sevilla quietly moves to within 6 points of the top of La Liga with 0-2 win in Villarreal.
