Dortmund, Atalanta, Leipzig.....talk about an enviable route to the CL final for PSG on paper at least.
Dayyum called the PSG - Atleti semi too early... Don't know why so many neutrals rooting for Atleti. They play dirty anti-football and have no attacking talent nor mindset at times. Felix had a good game. The rest of that team is over the hill... Time to rebuild with younger players. Anyways this Leipzig team won't go down easy. PSG will have a battle on their hands. An all German final wouldn't surprise me one bit!
Barca should sign Upamecano and sell Umtiti. He’s a tailor made to play as Barca defender, plus he’s dope defensively too besides him being a baller.
Anyways, I have more respect for a plastic club like Leipzig than PSG or City that are backed up by Arab nations who inject cash to sign expensive players. They’re the darkhorse in this CL for sure.
They actually have good or decent players offensively speaking and yet they park the bus in almost every big game. Simeone is basically being a cheaper version of Mourinho who at least won something major using these tactics. I think the team suffers from small club mentality but cowardly defensive tactics ain’t gonna help them get anywhere either.
Mourinho was much more versatile than Simeone . He could play pretty attacking football. He just went defensive when he felt outmatches or if he was sitting on a lead he thought he could protect .
The English Premier League have outlined their scheduling for the 2020-21 season. It sounds intense! Especially for clubs that go deep into the CL or Europa League this season. Of course its going to be similar for La Liga clubs as the season kicks-off on the same weekend in September, granted no Carabao Cup in Spain. Nevertheless, our thin squad is going to struggle. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/53767120
Yeah I know. Mourinho is one of the most tactically flexible manager out there and we saw it with Inter, Chelsea and Real. But even if he goes defensive in big games, it have won him major trophies. That’s what I’m trying to say even though Simeone did win La Liga title once.
