Bayern and Juventus clear favorites for me at this point.

It had been coming. Liverpool have being meh for a while even though some were calling the Watford loss a "blip". No such thing as a 6-7 match blip.

Juventus players are isolated because of corona virus. The match between Juve and Lyon may be cancelled

What does cancelled mean? It will never be played or just postponed?

Liverpool were fine until dumbass GK gave the ball away. It was a good performance. Scoring 2 goals vs 11 men bunkered is no easy feat no matter which way you slice it. Can't really believe people are making fun of them to be honest. Atletico are no minnow. They spent money on their squad. While they are free to play like that ... I will always find it pathetic and gutless. Not saying play free flowing open football ... but barely even attempting counters ... just doesn't do it for me.

BTW ... away goal rule in ET should really be removed.

Other than Chelsea, I'd rather see EPL club than LPB. Both English commentators were so unexcited everytime non English club fell behind and I'm loving it when result are against them.

Probably postponed but this will depend on corona virus situation.
It would be better if they cancel it and announce the winner of the first leg will be through:)

    Llorente goals are class though
Cant believe Morata scores against Liverpool but not us despite having many chances like his.

No doubt. Still, the one that broke has big percentage on the GK.

Meh ... Morata's goal was irrelevant. But you're right, we had plenty of chances.

Not making fun of the team per se. Just making fun of those that were in denial about their streak/run/form being over months ago. Loved how the deniers would argue that they only lost game X because they don't care about competition V. They are focused on winning competition Y. And then they get eliminated from competition Y, its because they are focused on competition Z.

Good thing they rested their first team with all the zero meaningful games left for them to play the next two months. :ROFLMAO:

PS... the goal machine that is Bobby Firmino scored his first goal in 19 matches at Anfield this season. :whistling:

But they were right now ? I mean .... they didn't play all starters in FA Cup no ? Even the EPL game they lost they seemed to be conserving it.

I've said it before, their record did not represent how good they were, but today they played really good IMO ... but that's KO competition for you.

Today didn't prove they are not that good. It didn't prove La Liga > EPL. The only thing it may have proved ... is that Alisson was well worth their money.

Yeah, Adrian is a train-wreck. What is it with Liverpool goalkeepers in CL? Yikes!

But its two legs and a big reason why they played well tonight but didn't advance is because they didn't do much for the first 90 minutes. Could've won by multiple goals tonight, but coulda lost by multiple goals in the first leg. Probably should have. Deserved result.

Not sure what you mean. IMO, big mistake not going for the FA Cup when you have so few meaningful matches to play in the last 3-4 months of the season. Gotta keep sharp and playing good teams in a single-elimination/KO competition like the FA Cup was a good way to do that. Not to mention the goal of winning a treble.

Open question: what were they resting their players for? They only played 5 matches the whole month of February then rested most of their first team in the Chelsea match in early March. No wonder they lost momentum...
