I think attempting moves comes with confidence and having the ability to control the ball creates confidence. IMO, work on that left foot.
4-5 minutes worked great for me in the past.
7 years old. I'm with NewDadaCoach on this one. But yeah, talking to in person or on the phone is probably better than emails.
1. My wife tells me that wtih girls, sometimes they just want to talk out loud ... depending on the mood. Not really looking for a solution. 2....
Personally, I dont think it necessarily needs to be kid driven. But I do think the trainer needs to look at it from the point of view of the kids...
Great comments. Kids can absorb a lot but you need a good coach.
Is he having fun and is he comfortable in the environmnet? You are describing it as a problem and the weakest link. Is that how he views it too?...
While I dont disagree with you, it would be hard pressed to find a couple of youth players with the motivation, discipline, and know how to train...
When I coach, I dont really care about what the refs are calling. I focus on my players and watch their decision making and skills. I praise...
I've been told by some parents that the turf boots helped their kid with foot/ankle issues on turf. Can probably fit a supportive insole too I'd...
I dont think players ever stop training technical. For successful teams anyways. Coach that focuses on good techniques, good fundamentals, good...

Accurate passes are a lot easier to make when a player has time. And much more difficult under pressure. Same with decision making. If a player...
Right off the bat should be teaching about moving the ball into space and 1v1 to control and play out of pressure. I always encouraged my players...
If you pay, you should play. Time goes by fast and kids grow up quick. It's a game. Playing is fun. Find the right level of play.
It's really up to the coach to find activities that encourage passing. If it's fun, kids will do it. Expecting young kids to play like adults...
Not that I deny it happens, just not good on the coaches that encourage this sort of play.
What a spectator sees is often not what a player sees. In soccer, when you yell shoot or pass from the sidelines, it's from your perspective. It...
