The most impreessing player in the win against Poland besides Eriksen was 22-yo Pione Sisto who is doing great in the Spanish league ... in fact, there has never been so many young Danish regular starters in the Spanish League as right now ... so the successs of the Danish NT rely on being able to mix the speed and physical strenght of the EPL and Bundesliga and the more technical skills of the Spanish League ...
What league do you think compliments Danish skill/talent the most? Do Danish players/clubs typically prefer going/selling to PL or Bundesliga clubs? Have there been many Danish players of note in La Liga or Serie A. (besides Laudrup)?
As you may have noticed ... it was especially English, German, Italian and Dutch (Ajax) buying Danish players in the past, while Spanish clubs nerve seemed to spend much efford on scouting in Denmark .. but this has changed of lately with especially Celta Vigo looking for players in Denmark : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celta_de_Vigo#Current_squad
Spain was badly hurt by the financial crisis and the distribution of TV money that has changed dramatically in favor of the top teams, so they are looking to find cheaper top talent. The trend is that more players go from Denmark to especially to England and the Spanish League, while fewer move to Italy, perhaps because the quality of the Italian Serie A seem to be dropping, also at NT level.
