Smashing AC Milan is like smashing Barbara Berlusconi. You do it... When it's your turn. But you don't go bragging about it.

Thanks for the rep. To answer you question about Argentina, they have also traditionally played a more attacking and attractive soccer, yet they aren't well liked among many neutral fans either. Like you said many times they also employed diving. I'm not sure if they were the first, but they must certainly be among the first to employ "win at all costs" tactics. The fans of opposing teams, such as the Dutch in the 1978 World Cup, will always consider such losses against Argentina as particularly devastating because of these tactics. Maradona's Hand of God goal in 1986 certainly didn't help the Argentina's reputation.

Also, take a look at Argentina's post-match comments whenever they lose. Often times many of their players are particularly negative in describing their opponent. Their comments after their loss to Germany in the 2006 World Cup must still be somewhere in the FIFA website.

Hey Nicky! You know the thing that always pissed me off about Italy and about being Italian is how they always seem to have this love hate relationship towards America. Every day I was in Italy. all I ever herd about was America. I herd and learned more about America living there than I do living here. Hollywood, the young people, the music. the trend, seem to worship Americans as a rule and I never understood why. I mean they have their own culture, their own traditions and religion but yet they still look at America as if America is the Sh**! I mean come on! The tattoos were overly exaggerated the way they openly talk about sex on TV but not in the open is the most hypocritical thing I've ever seen. Then you have people like Matteo saying that it isn't true..Without America Italy is nothing! The trouble is they know it they just can not admit it. I wish it weren't like this as an Italian -American I'm saddened by the way Italy has lost many of their traditional values because they try to emulate America......Just my thoughts!

Yeah, but when I can't get in the last word in a convo with one of them, it feels like Salem all over again.

I hear ya, I guess as a Fiorentina fan you should be glad he's not out there risking injury. Big season coming up for you guys. I'm personally hoping you do well in the CL.

I believe it actually. I've only seen a few Fiorentina games this season so I wasn't aware of what type of player he was. But some of my Italian friends speak very highly of him, even saying he is the "next Nesta". Shame he probably won't see a minute this tournament. I think Donadoni might prefer Barzagli AND Chiellini ahead of him in central defense going from what he put out there during qualifying.

Yeah. As far as I've seen, it's not classy or unclassy (may have missed something, though). Just freedom of speech, something that is technically allotted to all of us. But we do need to try not to be obnoxious about that freedom, but still be assertive.

Sometimes it seems like a losing battle for us, though.
