Wow, really? I never had any idea about Cornell requiring their students to study physics and calculus. I wouldn't be able to take either since I currently don't take physics in school, and calculus is just too boring/useless for me to actually study. I'm going to America, though, so there shouldn't be the same problem there. Hopefully.

      Oops :p Good choice then.

Thanks for the advice. I usually plan out an entire study schedule before-hand, so keeping track of time shouldn't be a problem. If anything, forums will definitely not be one of my worries, it will be watching football itself, lol. I can spend up to 6 hours a day watching it if there are a lot of matches on. ><

I'm not going to university in Qatar, even the Qataris can't stand going to university in Qatar. I'm going to study in America with my grandfather in KY, since he offered to pay.
Why do you suggest taking AS Math and Physics? I've never heard anyone suggest that to me when I told them I want to be a doctor XD. I've only been advised to take Biology and Chemistry. Is it useful for you in college, or you mean for getting accepted? Because I'm sure I'll have no problem with the latter.

Thanks for the advice; yep, I do pastpapers nearly every day lol. I try not to be too dependent on them, though, I only use them to re-enforce ideas. I see some people only studying from pastpapers.

You're starting to scare me about AS. Luckily, I won't be taking math.

What exactly is your career path, pharmacist? I'll be majoring Biology in college, but in case my dream of being a doctor doesn't work out, I'm also taking Environmental Studies and ICT for AS levels (both are very easy for me compared to damned Bio).

Hahah, you know, their dad's family always said they were originally Iranian, while my mom said they're actually Pakistani. So I guess Balochi would fit.

Right now, my dad is in Michigan, married, with a new family. My brother moved back to USA and still talks to him regularly (though hes not his biological dad).

I'm not sure what AS levels are like. I heard they're much harder than IGCSE's, which I'll be doing in May. Currently, I'm doing mocks (I have Bio exam starting in about 10 hours lol.) I've always procrastinated when it comes to exam weeks. :P What are you studying over in Malta?

Half Kuwaiti half English? Interesting. I think my brother and sister's dad is originally Balochi, or something similar.

They're extremely strict on gaining Qatari citizenship. My mom should be eligible, since she had a Qatari husband and lived here for quite a while now, but they keep "postponing" it, which is basically a nice way of saying "lol no passport 4 u". As for me, I don't even want it, since I'd have to give up my American citizenship, and I can't do that since I'm supposed to go there (Kentucky) to study in about 2 years after I'm done with AS levels. I don't really feel Qatari tbh. But for some reason I do when watching football. =P

Just American. I was born in USA, and moved to Qatar when I was 5 (since my brother and 1 of my sisters are half-Qatari, long ass story) after my parents divorced. My early life story is too long and boring so I'll just leave it at that. How about yourself? Are you just studying in Malta or what?

Thanks. :) I haven't really been active on any forums for about 3 years, so if anything, I think you saw me on Wikipedia, since I added to nearly every Qatari football page. I remember seeing your name a couple times, namely on Al Sadd's page. My name there is ElSpamo4. I've used this name on other websites, if it wasn't that. xD

I've found that the more school work I have, the more time I spend on the internet doing fu#$ all. Right now I have to write an essay, but I've spent all day on BS and googling acoustic guitars! Internet addiction is awful.

thanks, I will keep it in mind if he ever has any questions (I think he's making a backup plan for himself if he can't get into a school in Canada).
But he's well on his way even though he's still in his 1st year of undergrad. The kid's an absolute genius. I'm sure he's going to make it.

Good to hear that you're almost done as well. If you can work in the US then you're pretty much set $$$ wise.
And I see you still dream about raincouver! If you ever come to Vancouver, come in the summer time. The weather is shit for 9 months but in the summers the city becomes insanely beautiful.

Oh and I know what you mean about being addicted to the internet. I'm planning to go into a self-induced rehab this summer. Gonna buy a guitar and spend time learning something useful (like how to play this song so I can impress girls lmao) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z96yDZ5isR8"]like how to play this song so I can impress girls[/ame] instead of fighting with random strangers on internet forums lol

Don't be ridiculous. Med school > law school. I wish I had the brains to study science.
Unless you're in North America, I don't think law pays well. In the US you HAVE to get into a top 20 school if you want to ever make more than 100K. In Canada there are a total of 16 common law schools so we don't have the American problem, but they're all hard as hell to get into. Also, if you study common law outside NA, both Canada and the US make it crazy difficult to get into the job market here.

Stick with it, it's worth it. The good thing about med is that you can pretty much get a job anywhere in the world.

lol I had to think for a good couple of mins about what the "other forum" was! I got banned a few months ago for going on the American forums and telling them to get over 9/11 haha (not in those exact words of course).

And thanks for the nice words. How's school and Malta? I hope things are good. I screwed up big time and finished (about to finish) with a B average. Was planning to apply to law schools around Canada, but they don't even look at anything below an 80 average. But I aint giving up, planning to get a second degree and try again.

missed what? my racist rants? :)
Can't wait till the next round of qualifying and ACL! There is nothing better than beating the Saudis and gloating about it till it's just sad and pathetic lmao

btw, I've only been posting in the Mideast watch events. I know you're not really into politics but you should post there. Right now it's mostly "us" versus "them." Wouldn't hurt having someone in the middle posting there from time to time.
