I noticed you wrote you had class the night of the Houston game. A while back you were talking about pursuing law at some of the Pacific NW schools, but I took a hiatus before finding out where you ended up. Did you end up getting into Utah's law program? Just curious.

Are you doing the engineering as a 2nd BS/BA, or did you transfer from Westminister? Mechanical, electrical, structural, or other engineering? I graduated in construction management, so I work with engineers daily. Sometimes I wish I would've gone that route...

Mechanical as 2nd BS. I graduated from Westminster with a BA in Econ/Pre-Law and therefore had all the non-engineering stuff done.
sophomore year at Westminster I started into the ENGR program but stopped once I got married/pregnant as the program was a 3 years at Westminster, 2 years at USC or a school in St Louis. I should have done it then, but the thought of moving at that time was out of the question

Very cool. That will open a lot of doors for you. Design sector, construction sector, or with an econ background you could work as an owner's rep/consultant. Good luck!

Ismitje (a friend of mine) tipped me off that you are looking at U of I law school. I am a 2008 graduate. I left Salt Lake to go up there. Anyway, I don't frequent these boards much anymore, but Bill thought you might have some questions about the school, Moscow, law practice in general. I would be happy to chat with you any time, especially to a fellow RSL fan. Feel free to call my office (I'll be out until monday) at 208-734-2552. Or if you happen to be passing by Twin Falls on your way to Moscow, I'd be happy to buy you lunch.

I will say we were very nervous to leave salt lake and go to a small town, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I look forward to talking with you.
