Alternatively, this link has a lot of content from the 2002 world cup including all of the HD games I have ever been able to find (only a small handful of games are HD)

At one point I did, but as soon as Bin Hammam goes away, as in out of the media, the chances of them being stripped goes away too. I mean if the media every finds hard evidence then yes. FIFA would be almost forced to.
In 1986 Columbia lost their World Cup over safety concerns/economic reasons, the awarded the cup to Mexico three years before it started.

      Kevin,
In 2002, when Colin Jose and I wrote a book about U.S. games in the World Cup over the years, we had to make a choice between that FIFA match report and other sources on the goalscorers in that 1930 U.S.-Belgium game. We decided that the other sources were more authoritative, as well as being more numerous.
There were three main sources for the view that the first goal was scored by Bart McGhee and the second by Tom Florie. One was the current USSF sources, like the USSF media guide, which credits one goal for McGhee, one for Florie and one for Bert Patenaude in that game. Another was a 1983 book titled "U.S. Soccer vs. The World" by Tony Cirino. The most important one was the report that Wilfrid Cummings, the manager of that U.S. team, wrote for the USFA after the team returned from Uruguay. Both the Cummings report and the Cirino book contain specific descriptions of each goal.
      Best,
      Roger
