      LOL!

OK gloat--Sounders own the Quakes LOL.

No, you don't want to get into any of the banter I have with QB LMAO! At least, she's smarter than that other person who was into Houston baseball :D :D

2 Cy Young Award winners in the end... no Big Unit jokes, and supposedly Timmeh is uber ripped... well only in SF... alright! May 22-24 The Freak comes home to put the windup on Ichiro!

I might consider an Emerald City trip--long shot this year, it may be in the works next year--that is, if I can... I'm eager to get back there for a second go-round... alright!

You just have to put up with the QB foil! :D

One of the lads got together I think with one of the Seattle fan groups for this one... there was a presentation of it at the charity dinner I attended last year...

Any MLS team with a "link" to the old NASL club by name gets in to play for that... I know I'm going to get asked to check out that event when it gets awarded...

A bunch of Ultras and Casbah people are coming...

Alas, I can't make it to either game (personal matters going on)... heh, would have been the best time... ok!

Ha ha let's make a bet on this... right now they are battling for a piece of hardware--hint: you have to had the same club from the old NASL days... :D

Los Angeles Galaxy would have to change their name back to the Aztecs--no actually, let Chivas take on that name :p

ha ha you might trounce me on rivalry smack, but the Quakes fans here do know how to party!

and no Houston baseball jokes please :-p

Ever heard of Tim Lincecum? :D From the land of UDub--same short person as Nate-Dogg Robinson HA!

      Except Timmeh got bling! :p

Too sweet... only thing here is the campus bar for the Ultras to march. At least, the Sounders play downtown where the old Kingdome was...

Cousin the only one you could find eh? LOL! Deck Pioneer Square in blue and green!

      Speaking of UDub:

      Phat!

Drew Carey gets it... Steve Nash gets it... the guy from Crooklyn who likes to support Arsenal and Brazil but doesn't give a bleep about MLS (esp Red Bull NY) and the US Nats does not... :D

Works in Seattle--gonna joust against the Canucks/TFC fans... ;)

(damn I want to go to Seattle with the lads but alas, not right now...)

      mesmerizing, especially in downtown...

Actually, that reporter likes to hoop and holler about the Cougars... :D

She regularly covers the A's, a bit of the Giants, and did spot duty for one of the Quakes games--nice gal but she's really a sports nerd... LOL...

As for Buck Shaw--it has a lot of new character but nothing beats the old barn... if SJ State weren't too hawkish in their dealings with the Quakes they'd be back playing at Spartan...

However, Buck Shaw has a ton of bars nearby for some post-game revelry--something the old NASL/MLS home didn't have...

April 25 and June 13--Quakes play at Qwest against Seattle... was going to hang with the Ultras and Casbah but no go right now...

August 2, Seattle comes here to Buck Shaw--actually it's nicer than Spartan but it's still antiquidated. However it makes good use as a short term venue. As of now they are trying to build a SSS in San Jose near the airport but the design has to be truncated--no luxury boxes (though I think in the future they may have the room to add those). Lew Wolff of the Oakland A's might have to fund it through other sources--if that's not enough he got voted down on the A's to Fremont.

You might try jousting (or hanging out) against this person... ;)

Oh man, Augost 2? I'm planning on going to Spokane that weekend! Buck Shaw is a dump, lol! Are they building a SSS?

Buck Shaw--August 2. The yesteryear classics of the NASL is revived once more, albeit at Santa Clara... By that time, someone will be playing for oldschool bragging rights! ;) :D

Or even so, Seattle could be still on top of the West by then......

Cool... Right now, the San Jose and Seattle fans have offered to play for some bling (forget all the other rivalry cups--bleh San Jose and LA don't play for anything except pride)... just wait until Portland and Vancouver enter the league...

Hint: it has to deal with the NASL names! LA is ineligible to play... unless they revert back to the Aztecs but too late for them now... :D

      Good!

It should be a great west coast rivalries with the Gals till Portland and Vancouver enters the league.

LOL! Bleeding Green and Blue now, instead of the old Blue and Black (and Red) eh? :D

Well, start groveling over Kasey Keller and Fred Ljundberg (though he played for those two other Premiership "Reds" team)... James Riley reminds me a bit of Hines Ward...

and don't forget the new Franchise Tim Lincecum... dunno about that new Barry who came in from that other Bay Area team...

Watch for the Quakes fans to invade your turf this year--the Ultras can throw one big-a** party... :p Alas, can't go to either one of them (one of them is the Giants/other Bay Area team 20th anniversary reunion in June)...

How's life treating you nowadays? :)

Yolla... got Sounders season tickets yet... :D :p Much better than the Seahawks (who are going downhill--aye) OK cheers!
