      I'm not a regular Big Soccer guy but do like your blog. I have a keen interest in building the game and believe Its the economy ! Anyway, my book Black People Don't Play Soccer? Unlocking American Soccer's Secret Weapon has just been released. The title is slightly deceptive in that to attract the black athletes that now go to football and basketball, soccer has to get its economic ducks in a row. I devote a chapter to globalization and spend quite a bit of time discussing the economics of club and college soccer. Why are we the only country where poor people don't play soccer? Hope you enjoy.       That is waaaay too many to count. Currently you have Bocanegra, Bornstein, and Mastroeni, from the past you have Reyna, Ramos, Balboa, Armas, Perez, Clavijo and the list goes on and on. However, my favorite player on the USMNT is DaMarcus Beasley. Why? He's from my home state. One has to be colorblind to cheer for the USA, and I like it that way. We've got players of just about every descent that you can possibly think of.
