A friend of mine has been RED member for 2 years now, but he claims that no league game tickets have been made available for RED members yet. Surely, tell me he is wrong. Im looking into RED member meself and my fanatical son.
I don't recall if a League match has gone to Red sale yet, but I've received emails about Carling Cup and I think CL matches going to Red members.
EVERY game including Spurs and Liverpool has gone on sale to Red Members so far this season. Every single game.
Hey Rick My mate says he has checked the Arsenal website ever so often. Perhaps the remainder of tickets that is made available to RED members are so few that they are sold out within seconds.
Well obviously they sell out straight away. Thats a given. They go on sale a calendar month before the game at 9.30am. They will always be gone by 10.30am whatever game. Spurs and 'pool were gone by 9.45am. But that doesn't take the fact away that a RED member could of gone so far to EVERY game this season.
Actually, I know at least one Prem game that did not make it to the Red level - Watford sold out at the Silver level, more than 30 days before the match. Believe me, I was watching the Arsenal website like a hawk.
I'm a red member 2 years running. I like being a member of the club, regardless of whether it gets me a ticket (which it can, as Rick B notes above). When my son gets here next year, I will be getting him a red membership.
I've received several e-mails regarding available Red tickets. You have to keep the US-UK time differential in mind if you're attempting to get tickets. Obviously, a 10:30 a.m. GMT is 5:30 a.m. EST.
I am afraid that Watford DID go to Red. Rwo friends of mine got tickets at Red Level. There were very limited tickets, but it still went there.
FWIW, I believe the emails to RED members are the way to keep up with ticket offerings. The website is usually pretty silent on the issue, but the emails make it very clear what matches are going on sale, when, and how.
He edits our posts to make it seem that way. We have no will of our own our own our own our own our own.
Put it this way - I have been, and will continue to be a Red level member, because I view it as one way to support the club, even if I've never been able to get a ticket that way. I'm signing my kid up too, now that he's shown the least bit of interest. But if your primary concern is getting tickets, follow the procedures on this site (better than I did) and let Rick handle it. I think that is a much safer bet than hoping enough tickets trickle down to the Red members, or get returned, or whatever the hell happened with the Watford match . . . which I got to see thanks to Rick and not thanks to the club's official website.
I love being a member. As far as I am concerned it is well worth it for the membership package and the knowledge that, in some small fashion, I am a part of Arsenal. Have you all received your Red membership package? I e-mailed the club about the fact I had not gotten mine and have heard nothing in return, which is strange as Arsenal's people are usually great about responding.
No membership package here. Last I heard they were supposed to be out in October, but it hasn't graced my doorstep yet. Let us know if you find anything out.
Website still says October. I just know it will come while I am out of town and get stolen from my front porch.
