i know it. but, if someone else would have gotten a red i would have suspected abby. you know, how the refs like to call her on things just because she's bigger and better.

Someone at the Washington Times must read Big Soccer. Check out this article about Heather Mitts.

You should just keep trying. I had the same problem about an hour ago (it said the server was busy), but I retried again a few minutes ago and it worked. It might be fickle.

And, if that still doesn't work ... the official Peace Cup site is supposed to have a live stream as well ... I don't think it's up and working yet, but you could try that too.

I doubt it. Ryan has been rotating starters throughout the tournament.

Ankle sprain from the Holland game early Thursday (their time). Canucks are having their way with Chalupny...hopefully Mitts will be in the second half.

Yeah I knew about the ankle, just didn't know it was that bad. You're right, Mitts needs to get in there. The Canuks had us pinned back on many occasions.

GOAL!!!! Another one for Lilly; Wagner fed her a nice through ball on the right side of the box, Lil cut left past the defender and placed her shot beautifully into the top right corner. Great stuff.

The distribution by the US defense has been shaky on numerous occasions. They need to be more composed rather than either booting it aimlessly, or panicing and passing it right to the Canadians. Granted, having Sinclair lurking around would make any defender nervous. She's quality.

You're right Charge. Canada, particularly #3, has gotten the better of Chalupny repeatedly in this one. I wonder why she's playing on the right side?

Substitutions have been Wagner, Mitts, and White in for Hucles, Markgraf, and Tarpley.

Frimpong in for Natasha Kai....she's playing forward! :D

85th minute - Solo comes off her line to smother a long free kick that bounced in the box. Both she and Booth were shaken up but are okay.

Miller in for Carli Lloyd, who was again unlucky not to find the back of the net. I really like her as a player; My only criticism is that she tends to overcomplicate things rather than make the simple pass. Having said that, I love her creativity on the ball.
