Nice pic, Hoosier! Fire P.A. announcer - "Chicago Fire goal scored by #21 Justin Mapp!" Waldo - "Jump, guys! You gotta jump! Matt Reis should be mad at his wall. Next time, turn around and watch the goal"..Priceless :D

I wouldnt count on it. Like Game 1, you guys are supposed to be receiving some bad weather. Regardless, you guys still play at Gillette and have zero trophies. We play at Toyota Park and have 5 trophies....nuff said.

No, the Fire play at Toyota Park and have 5 trophies. You work at your crappy job and WATCH the Fire play there. Big difference. :D

I counted 218 people in that picture. The firehouse wasn't exactly capacity, either. I guess the line for brats was really long.

Did the photographer go back to a talking on the cell phone or working on the sunday sudoku puzzle after taking a picture during an important point in the game?

Little Frank in today paper says that Nooan has trained at full speed and will be available. He also says Joey will move inside next to Jeff and Kenny Smith will start on the left wing.

    Reis
    Heaps, Parkhurst, John
    Ralston, Dorman, Larentowicz, Franchino, Smith
    TnT and Abundis

We will have Pepe and Noonan available (and also Hernandez if a defender goes down)

This game should be an epic contest.
I like the fact that Abundis has been in the situation many times.

    Come on Revs

Since I took it on the chin for an anger emoticon on the news thread, I might as well earn the negative comments on my negativity. I'd rather see Hernandez where Joey is until he tires and Smith scares me. Who is this guy named Pepe?

I also think Hernandez is the more complete player but what I don't have any way of knowing is how well he's played in practice and what his attitude is at the moment after his negative remarks last week. One thing about Franchino, you know his attitude will be 110% positive and his last few outings as a DMF were quite good.

I also share your concerns about Smith. Which one will show up? The one who punts the ball out of the stadium or the one who can put in a killer cross and score a wonder goal? He's a better and more dangerous winger than Joey and this game will be won by the Revs if they can get the ball wide and get in some good crosses. The Fire will clogg up the middle---we need wide play--ergo Ralston and Smith.

Pepe is a roll player who may or may not see the field depending on the tactical situation.

    We agree on something!

You are right and this is the only concession SN seems to have made to the fact that he needs to score. The scary part is going to be what you said plus he is (sometimes) a defensive liability (IMHO). He may score yet also neutralize his offensive contribution. SN had little other choice once he moved Franchino. Perhaps he could have scambled positions even more to get Ralston out left.

As you said, they are down "Three All-stars." They are also down a goal. The fact that he is only a roll player who may or may not see the field EVEN IN THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES burns me, I'll admit it. It is part of SN's style that really turns me off. Hopefully, come tomorrow, I won't have any reason to question SN's approach.

I spent most of the week being pissed at the league and not thinking much about the game, but I'm rev'ed up now. Conditions are going to be tough, loser goes home, and there are two good teams that won't easily blink. Should be a fantastic night!

If the Globe's lineup is true, I give us zero chance of winning.

Dorman in the middle = no offense
Smith on the outside = nothing
    Joey anywehre .... please

If you think Dorman will do a better job then Pepe in the middle and Smith over Dorman on the outside then I seriously question your judgement. What the Hell has Pepe done to sink so low on the depth chart?

Turn the lights out Stevie, it's over for this year.
