I only skimmed the document from the Fire yesterday, but it looks like they're going to allow you to exchange unused tickets for past matches next year. You no longer have to swap them in advance.

As someone who missed a bunch of matches this year for various reasons and had to end up eating the tickets (yum!), this is very good news.

While I'd LOVE to believe this, I have my doubts that this is indeed true.

    Could you supply a link?

    Thanks in advance.

It is true. I received a flyer in the mail that included this new policy info for next year. At times I'm critical of the Fire front office but I think this is a great move. This could have really helped me THIS year but I see this as a great benefit to season ticket holders in the future.

Yeah I wish that the SEVEN tickets I have sitting here were worth something this year.

    Yah,

I am not sure there is link-able text to that effect....but I received the same document in the mail and yes, it clearly states that you can do things like take all the tickets for all the games you missed all year and (subject to availability) get exchange tickets for whatever the next match is.

Clearly a very customer-friendly policy and one that makes me very happy.

A few more positive choices like this and I will be willing to re-think my current position on club management.

Excellent news. On a related note - have Club tix renewal invoices hit the mailboxes yet?

    Another piece of info...

    Not likely to happen, but......
"Should the Fire host the Eastern Conference final against the New York Red Bulls, parking at Toyota Park will be free. No group packages will be available for the game."

I'm afraid I too would need some additional evidence before believing.

More amazing than the free parking is:

No group packages will be available for the game

If you use all your tickets, what do you get then? Oh, right, a picture.

I like how Guppy wants us to believe that his system of ticket exchange is the first of its kind in Chicago. Um...well just the pick anyother date you want if you can't use the ticket. otherwise if your a Sox or Wolves season ticket holder, there are dates that are preselected (between 10-20) where you can use those unused tickets for. But remember Guppy believes he is an innovator of all.

    Well he is Capt. Chaos.

This new policy is kick ass. I was teetering on renewing but this will seal me in.
