uh, I have three tests this week, and I havent even started studying for them. But the good news is I get out of school Friday and Monday, so I get to go home on Thursday. If I can only make it through this week... Thursday cant come fast enough.

Not soccer related: My band is playing tonight!

I know I haven't been around too much on the boards lately, but I'm back for the new season, and I thought I'd let you all know that my band, Creek, is playing tonight at the Stork Club in Oakland (2330 Telegraph Ave.)....We go on around 8:30pm.

Be great to see any of you there!

OMG, my soccer team just beat our rivals. Everyone favors them, they always get on the front page of the sports section, etc etc. Anyway we beat them 3-1 :D, I had an awesome assist (right to my teammates head) and an awesome goal, it was the greatest feeling in the world.....woo hoo!

One of those always favored, always getting the local press coverage...I understand the feeling of beating a team like that. Nothing like it! Congrats!!:)

Another Reason to Hate Fresno State!

In the agate type this morning (Merc's "Transactions" section) it was announced that Fresno State is dropping Men's soccer after the 2003 season (as well as other men's sports...but I won't comment on that).

So the legacy of the likes of Mark Daugherty and Timmy Martin (and Christina Bell as a nod to CyberRays fans) amounts to nothing after next season.

That's just a bunch of fish! It makes me so sad to hear that colleges are dropping sports (and arts, but that's for another forum). :(

Just when everyone has dropped "You got me straight trippin' boo." (Thank GOD that movie was a flop), now comes the overhyped mess of Malibu's Most Wanted. Just what I want to hear, more "black" catchphrases from drunken white frat boys. If I have to hear "Don't Hate" or any of it's variants any more...

BTW, by rapping over an Aerosmith track Eminem has officially jumped the shark.

    sorry, had to vent.
