good game and good result given that we were playing away. No injury problems , now we have to keep up the form as we go into the explosive clash versus Valencia next week.

This is going to be tough given that we are matching up against one of the most inform team in europe but we have the edge as we will be playing at the camp.

Sevilla continues to be impressive but i think they will come up short next week
against Atletico madrid especially given that they will be playing away at the vicente calderon.
Depor also has to be at full strength away to levante and with the way Real Madrid has been playing, i would be surprised if they don`t drop points away to Betis.

So hopefully we can pull away from the chasing pack next week if we get maximum points versus Che.

On the plus side, Valencia is hampered with a lot of injuries at the present time (Villa, Del Horno, Marchena, Baraja, Albelda)

when was the last time he showed more than "flashes" off good football???
I think his 23 million euro purchase price to valencia was completely rediculous and makes him even more over rated.

I agree with Lucho; Joaquin hasnt shown me much in a long, long time.

Ill always remember his awful penalty take in the 2002 World Cup

wow, 23million? good deal for betis. though valencia were desperate for a right winger, especially after failing to land c.ronaldo and simao. he fills a big hole they had in their squad, and i think valencia are easily looking like barca's biggest threat, if anyone can beat us to the title its them.

i agree joaquin had a bad season last time round. but i'm still looking forward to seeing what he can do with a quality team around him. betis as a whole played very poorly last season, after looking so good the season before, and you can hardly single out joaquin for that.

so, regardless of what you may say, i'm still looking forward to seeing valencia at full stregth. to make things even more interesting, look how many spanish internationals they've got.

ok that's enough praise for them, i still want them to get soundly beaten this weekend. let's hope valdes doesn't give villa anymore gifts!
