I'm pretty sure that word for word, Ching's glowing comments about the Houston fans are almost identical to his glowing comments about the San Jose fans last year.

And when the Dynahos get moved to Philly or Rochester or St. Louis or whatever in a year or two, he'll have the same glowing comments about the fans there.

From what I have read, (basically a lot of talk and smack from the Ferry Dallas supporters but nothing solid)...I love the way u guys try to make yourselves sound as the best support group in the MLS, yet have nothing to show for it. Please provide Us Houston Fans with articles in your newspaper where the Players acknowledge you the supporters. Also I find it funny how the ppl from Dallas have to go out and through cheap shots, about ppl being Mexican or from an non-Anglo descent...PATHETIC...Thats why HOUSTON WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER...OUR SUPPORTERS ARE VERY DIFFERENT BUT WE SHARE ONE THING THE LOVE OF THE GAME...we care not of your race, all we care if you have the passion and the love for the game and are willing to show it every game...

So please continue how u guys have more points and how u are better then Houston, but we all know that this past weekend the HOUSTON SUPPORTERS showed up in your house and showed you who was WHO...Peace out ...

WE CHALLENGE YOU….next time Dallas plays in Houston; please show us what u guys really got…Do you accept? Or will just continue to talk the talk but not walk the walk….

Get the ******** out of here! I had enough about this shit about the supposed racism that exists in FCD's supporter groups. Anyone, ANYONE that followed the whole issue of Houston going from 1836 to Dynaho at the Ho'town forums will remember the racial if not racist overtones taken by its supposed H-town supporters. The whole racists attacks against Garcia (the council woman) are classic and they still persist. The whole debate about whether TA was too White and the need to form El Cagadon...er...El Batallon. The whole debate youse guys had about why are people using Spanish chants. Don't care about race?! Shit! It got so bad at H-towns forums that the moderator(s) started to delete the racist posts.

There is only one challege. FCD 1- Hos 0.

    FCD - 45 pts.
    Ho's - 36 pts.

Whatever bitch. Better to live in Rio Grande Valley than that armpit know as Crackhousetown.

Rancho? Shit. We already have major MLS & FMF teams friendlies regularly. We had Interliga games. San Antonio had their Interliga unplugged and had to bring over here.

This shows that FCD love is statewide. Tell your little buddies to stop being hooliganitos.

    FCD - 45 pts.
    Ho's - 36 pts.

LOL. It's gotta hurt. Otherwise you wouldn't be trolo. :D

I think El Chuy makes a reasonable point -- to a degree.

Many years ago, Dallas had several supporters groups. The Inferno (primarily Anglo), and 2 Hispanic groups: La Raza Latina, and La Mara Loca(?).

And for some reason I never understood, the groups seemed to prefer having quite a bit of distance between them at the stadium, and pretty much did their own thing.

I think its great that the different supporter groups in Houston stand together at the game and seem to get along pretty well.

There's strength in numbers, and to someone watching home on TV, 1 group of 80 guys in orange looks better than 2 groups of 40 split standing far apart.

Did you even read what I posted a few posts above yours?

    And Rio Grande Valley=Not Houston.

    Rio Grande Valley wins, period.

Your points are certainly valid opinions, but I disagree. I think it's good to have pockets of rowdy fans around the stadium. I really wish La Raza and any other predominately hispanic groups would pop up around the stadium because I love the flavor they bring to the game. Unfortunately, Southlake pretty much killed most of that. Hopefully an mlscup can bring more hispanic fans because we certainly need more.

Back to the topic of combining everyone, I think it's pretty damn cool for the Inferno to just shut up for a second and listen to Chamo and Damian's group kick out some hot beats from the east side, and then turn to my left and see the crazy's like Justscore, Top_Cat and Erik 2.0(Mainly posters on the Inferno message board) giving the opposing bench and coaches crap from 108.

One thing that makes the EPL games so fun to watch is how the ENTIRE crowd is into the game not just one end of fans. We need more pockets of rowdy fans(maybe not like what goes on in 116 but people who have a passion for the game and live and die for the team.

The reason is because each wanted to do their own thing. Do you realize how poor things sound when you have two supporters groups doing two separate things right next to each other?

I'll give the Houston SGs props for having numbers and for working together so far. But one season does not a history make.

His point is still 100% bullshit, mostly because it implies that The Inferno is primarily non-Hispanic because we wanted it that way.

And you seem to be buying into that bullshit by pointing out that back in the day, the Burn had several different supporters groups, only one of which (The Inferno) was non-Hispanic.

I'll give you a little hint: The Inferno weren't the ones driving the racial divide.

And we had our share of Hispanic members. Still do, for that matter.

I said the Inferno was "primarily Anglo".

"Primarily" as in "mostly" as in "70% or more".

Isn't that the way it is now, and hasn't it always been that way?

I agree with your EPL reference but I think there is a difference because from what I've seen of EPL matches, all the fans are on the same page and singing the same songs. THAT's what makes it work in my opinion...not that there are hard core fans all over the stadium, but that there are hard core fans all over the stadium that are co-ordinated with one another because every supporter knows the songs or chants. Obviously no MLS match will be like that for quite some time (if ever) but I personally think you should set up in a manner that makes the biggest impression on fans, players, etc. It should come as no surprise that I think the best way to do that is with one big group but to each their own.

As an aside, I always assumed that the drummers above the east stands where Inferno members. Your post leads me to believe they are separate...is that the case?

    Yes and yes.

But not by intent, as our race-card-playing "friends" from Houston claim.

I'm not sure if they're official Inferno members anymore, doesn't matter to me as they're certainly honorary members. They used to be the main Inferno drummers, but set up shop where they are now after the move to the new stadium as they aren't big fans of the sightlines of section 116 where the Inferno presides on the endline. I love the extra atmosphere they bring to the game from their spot, and they're all great guys who have been to Houston and stood with us at all three road games.
