first of all it's not cajones, it's cojones haha... when did i post that lighting a flare at PHP means that we have big "cajones"?? haha... second of all, i'm not going to light a flare on the next game at Roberston just to show you the pictures of it hahaha... and finally, what actions are you talking about? i think the actions of some of your people with racial comments are way worst than aything i have post this far...
Yes Dre00, I do consider you to be credible and should have included you on the list of those I consider credible. I will take your word. Except that in a post just above, Grenyas is backsliding, which leaves me only 99% convinced, and not 100% convinced, because in the conversations i've had with Rizzo & Oliver, reviewing the history of your firm this season, an incident with incendiary devices was never discussed. That said, I await final video/photo proof when I check back on this thread tomorrow. -bs
I posted that before you showed up to back him, so how is that "changing the rules"?? Are you concerned that he might actually feel the need to do it again at your house? What would it hurt? I mean, if pyro is "smoke OR fire", and you've done it before at your house, and have no problem taking the liberty to do it at our house, where's the harm in continuing to stay "on top of the supporters group standings" by doing it again at your place? And the best part is, yank02 can't delete this! Grenyas will have a hard time, just like cornholio, avoiding this thread leading up to your next fixture. Must....light.....FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!!! -bs
And none of us have defended any racial comments... I just think that we can, in a very literal sense, piss farther than houston fans. Just ask, it's an easy explanation.
******** it, let's just be aggies. Let's have an election. You guys can photoshop and then we can vote. And then we know who to blame if the orangemen yell louder than we do. "These buttplugs shaped like Coach Fran feel great!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Well, I'm fairly certain that there isn't any video evidence. For some reason, the number of videos and cameras at our first few games was shockingly small. If that means to you that you'll only be 99% sure...so be it.
oooh...I hope I have time to at work tomorrow. "Sit and dick around on photoshop" is one of my favorite parts of the day.
Well, I posted my back-up right before you posted but I'm assuming you didn't see it judging from the timestamp. My change the rules post was assuming you had seen my back-up post but apparently you hadn't. Anyway, moving on...
Well, not to change the subject (although this thread has gone in nearly every direction imagineable so I'm not to sure it should be a problem) but I wanted to use my new found credibility to refute a few things that I noticed when glancing over this behemoth. 1) The band is not paid. They are 100% volunteer but the FO came up with the idea. That said, I know (and I'm sure Inferno organizers know) how much it is to rent a bus so I'd be very surprised if they got there without the help of the FO. I'm just doing some educated guessing though... 2) I've seen the accusation tossed around here several times that a TA/EB member punched a police officer/security guard. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED! I've attended every game and situate myself in a manner so that I can see everything (if not always who does everything). If you're saying it to get a rise out of Houston fans, fair enough. If you're saying it because you actually believe it to be true, it isn't.
If you have a problem with a moderator in our forum, report it to the super mods. If you have a problem with a poster in your forum, report it to your mods. Failing action by them, there is always the Ignore feature. Someone's postings on BigSoccer should not bring "consequences" in real life. It's a freaking bulletin board.
My bad on that one, I was thinking of the samba band they pay to play in Salt Lake City during the games. Kudos to those kids for volunteering. Probably a good way to stay sharp before high school football season. That's all well and good, but at the USOC game while sitting at our cars after walking through the mayhem, we were just casually chatting with one of the security guys and he pointed to a specific person who he said punched him in the back of the head. I don't really care one way or the other, that's yall's problems not mine but I don't see why he'd lie.
Well, let's use logic. As near as I can tell 1 of 2 things happened: 1) He was never "punched" in the back of the head and lied (or at the least exaggerated greatly, i.e. he got hit in the head by flagpole on accident and suddenly it turns into a punch) 2) He was punched, knew who did it, and decided not to do anything about it. Now I agree that both sound far fetched but I'm going to say that there isn't a security guard/police officer in this world who wouldn't do anything to a person that they knew punched them in the head.
Oh I know, you don't have to defend yourself to us on that. That issue is completely between you and the security people.
I like beer. If I were a Houston fan, I'd be more worried about the loss than flopping around in here like some sort of squid with a nine volt shoved up its ass concerning myself with claims of outsupporting another SG, which they certainly did not do. They brought a great group up and contributed to the overall atmosphere of the game, but threatening your relationship with a second FO in Texas by lighting of flares does not in any way make you better than us, only the guest that nobody wants around any more.
There's the problem. People think cyber space is not "real" and doesn't count. People think they can say anything they want and it won't matter on a board. BullSh!t. It's still a real person who is doing the posting, People will know who you are and people will know who said it. And real people are doing the reading and real people will be hurt of offended. Once something is on the internet it never goes away. And I bet you a great many people will same day be haunted by something they wrote on the intenet that "should not bring consequences in real life." Nothing happens in a vacuum. This board is as real life as if one were standing in front of someone saying what one is posting. The fact it's on the internet makes no difference.
In the end all this back and forth really doesn't matter. But what does matter is the team, that's the reason why we're there and I know they appreciate our passion. http://blogs.chron.com/brianching/2006/09/hard_to_win_if_you_shoot_yours.html I'll take that over your "at least we drum better" BS any day of the week. And regarding flares at Robertson, there were at least two lit at our first game. There's proof out there of it so if you're really that interested about it go and look.
Well. Happy to hear to Ching shills for his team's fans! Wow. Who heard of that? Man bites dog! FCD - 45pts Ho's- 36 pts
Yeah, pretty hardcore, controversial stuff there out of Chingholio. What's next? How much he likes Puppy Dogs and Mother's Day?? Ohh...I know...a tirade against child abuse. "Yeah, our fans in Houston are the best......ummm...except for the fans in San Jose, because they are also the best."
Here's what surprises me about Ching's blog: He has shown that FC Dallas can get in his head. A few weeks ago, he complained about Sala talking smack to him and now this week he's complaining about Ruiz. I think both Ruiz and Sala like to play mind games with opponents (see "Don't even look at me because I know I'm going to score"), but a strong competitor doesn't show that it bothers him. I'd expect a bit more mental toughness out of a member the USMNT.
