so... after a 0-7 pasting at home in the cup, my confidence is at wretched. never seen it that low. anyone have an idea how many psych's i should hire to get it back to decent or strong?
I wouldn't go over board. 2, maybe 3. I have usually kept 2 on my staff, to bring it up to at least decent. Never been down to wretched though. BTW, after winning my Cup match 3-2, my confidence went from strong to Slightly exaggerated. Wonder if that 4 goal win on Sunday pushed it up to a High Strong.
I always kept 10 on staff, until this season. Right now I have 1, and my confidence is extremely exaggerated. However, I see no negative to this because I'm facing equal opponents in the coming matches.
I'm considering switching to GK training for one week so I can play my best lineup for the League AND the Cup. I have a 21yo high-brilliant keeper, so I will gain some value from it. Are there any negatives from switching training twice in two weeks?
You're not going to have the right assistant mix for keeper training, which is an added cost if you choose to try to fix it (and if you do, I'd suggest only going to 5-5 or 6-4 gk-assistants).
Oh, I was going to change it to 8or9 GK coahces and 1 or 2 asst. coaches. Why would I want to go 5-5 or 6-4, besides cost considerations which doesn't concern me.
WTF!! I had 4 players drop stamina, 2 starters this week only 2 weeks after i trained stamina!! Seriously this is unacceptable. I hope this isnt a precursor of things to come with this new stamina change.
Have you considered SP or stamina. Stamina especially since you will need it again later in the season by the looks of it. I do understand about the potential form hits. From my experiences with switching trainings week to week for an extended period of time, I didn't like it. It looked like my form took bigger hits than normal. I have only done it twice since I started, so it could just be bad luck.
Going to 8 or 9 is reported to have very marginal benefits (something like two weeks quicker to divine from 17 solid, on that order, see the wiki). Combine that with the cost and the possible form disadvantage with fewer field assistants, and I wouldn't go past 6-4 (which was what I ran when I was training keepers). YMMV, obviously.
This is assuming what about the main coach's stats? Would I have to upgrade a coach to see the same results over time?
Who knows how true or accurate it it, but I've seen this in several different venues: A Solid coach training GK will get a high solid 17yo to Divine just one week faster with 9/1 than with 5/5.

One of my rivals just bought this forward for 1.5 mill: Tobiasz Lesiczka (27929849) [Add this player to your bookmarks] 25 years, solid form, healthy A popular guy who is calm and honest. Has inadequate experience and weak leadership abilities. Nationality: flag Polska Total Skill Index (TSI): 277 550 Wage: 260 088 US$/week including 20% Bonus Owner: Robo Sapian There's no way in hell he can pay those wages for more than a couple weeks. I guess he bought him for next week's match against the best team in V.20 but he's going to lose the midfield anyways so this guy really won't make much of a difference...
I had a guy in my series buy a divine player last season, the guy was injured too so he played 1 game for the guy and was on his team 3 weeks, the entire time he had him listed on the market, I think the guy finally sold for like 1.2 million.
Has anyone seen this? http://www.petitiononline.com/rand0m/petition.html Evidently, people are petitioning to get random draws for national cups. I think that it's a good idea. How many seeded national cups are there in real life? It would add to the realness of the game.
They sold off everyone, banked money for a few seasons, then bought a kiler team while holding onto enough money to pay for salaries. They've got enough money to play out the entire cup, but there's some doubt whether they've got enough midfield to go all the way. Nonetheless, nobody is going to want to draw them the rest of the way...
I'm sad to see that they beat Adios Pantalones in their last league match. It's not that I'm hating on what that manager is doing, it's just that Adios Pantalones is just about the coolest name of any team in HT and I have them bookmarked and follow them. P.S. beating freshmen in beer pong is ********ing awesome.
Actually, I think this is a very bad idea. It would be extremely unfair if among the teams in one league, some would get extremely lucky in the cup draw and others extremely unlucky. The cup not only has financial implications on the league, but also in terms of PIC/MOTS. Furthermore, the random draw would kill yet another reason for promotion, and there are already now too little reasons to promote for many managers. Refusing promotion should not be further encouraged; people should be rewarded for reaching higher leagues. Therefore, I don't like this idea at all and I recommend everybody to think twice before signing yet another petition.
