Gavin McCallum to Conference side Tamworth Tks to Lennie at Vs for headsup Players Go Out On Loan http://www.ytfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10673~886602,00.html? Gavin McCallum Manager Russell Slade has this afternoon confirmed that two of Yeovil Town's young up and coming players will be going out on loan in order to gain experience as they look to fight their way into the Huish Park first team. Both Gavin McCallum and Brad Thomas have been fielded out to Conference side Tamworth. The winger and the central defender have joined the Lambs for a month, with the Gaffer looking to keep a close eye on their progress. Speaking to www.gwsc.net this afternoon Russell said: "A couple of our younger players Brad Thomas and Gavin McCallum are going out on loan to Tamworth in the Conference." "I think that it will be fantastic for them. They will be at least playing in front of two or three thousand people every week. "I think that they will be playing Exeter in the first game, and it means they will get what I would describe as competitive football, and that will be good for them. "It will be a good experience and I will make time to go and watch them whilst they're on loan to see any progress that they may or may not be making."
Re: Gavin McCallum to Conference side Tamworth Dave Simpson with Sparte Praha??? http://www.canadian-soccer.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10243
Re: Gavin McCallum to Conference side Tamworth I think we need a better link to support this. /kidding
Re: Gavin McCallum to Conference side Tamworth http://www.canadasoccer.com/eng/nationals/profile.asp?id=195&sub=3 Weird, the CSA website still list DeJong as being with Helmont Sport or Olivieir with the IMpact but they already made the change with Simpson.......
Re: Gavin McCallum to Conference side Tamworth I was kidding I'm sure that poster is the real deal. But how does the CSA get Brennan and Josh Simpson's club wrong, but Dave Simpson's club is changed right away?
Re: Mother of All Canadians Abroad (as of Aug. 23/06) As I'm not signed up at Vs and seeing as Dave is posting there can someone post there asking about the status of his former Lombard Papa teammates. Are Lalli and Karim still there? I believe Peart and Ornoch are but may as well inquire as well. I believe Dave Simpson has posted before and that it is him and other sites do confirm the signing.
I know you were kidding, I just took another occasion to show the contradictions of the CSA website.....
Re: Mother of All Canadians Abroad (as of Aug. 24/06) Thanks for the tip from Analyst at the V's. Transfermarkt.de has the club wrong for Maycoll Canizales. He appeared as a sub in their first game: http://www.diefussballecke.de/liga4...S. - FC Oberneuland 0:0 </h2> &bild=1&an=10 Played 90 minutes in their most recent game: http://www.diefussballecke.de/liga4... Henstedt-Rhen 2:0 (1:0)</h2> &bild=1&an=12

Re: Mother of All Canadians Abroad (as of Aug. 24/06) Kurosawa on V's has posted that Olivier Lacoste Lebuis has signed with RC Strasbourg in Ligue 2 in France. http://www.canadian-soccer.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10253&whichpage=2
Re: Mother of All Canadians Abroad (as of Aug. 24/06) I'm pretty sure Crawford is a U.S. citizen. Whether he also has Canadian citizenship, I don't know.
Re: Mother of All Canadians Abroad (as of Aug. 24/06) Hey Kurosawa, thanks for the credit. Good to know one's work is appreciated And now that everyone is up to date that should be my last post for a long while, as I try to get away from PCs and lose that excess poundage caused by sitting in front of these infernal devices. If somebody can take over the list here and keep it up to date that would be great.
