    Heh, congrats.

I got to say I'm a little jealous, I entered everyday when it first started, but kept on getting that "Sorry, missed shot" message. Stopped playing after the WC was over..bad idea, those could've been mine...haha

Hopefully your prize is "in-stock." Anyone remember the Puma MLS Shudoh matchball fiasco? :D

Thanks but yeah, I just set that page as my homepage and everytime i logged on I would just enter. Ive been playing since the worldcup started and I won a poster a few weeks in, so that motavated me to keep playing. And now the Tunits, so imma just play it out till the contest ends.

What I found odd was that under where it asked me for my shoe size it also asked for my jersey size, so maybe I get two prizes...hey i can hope.

    Well done Sain!

Seeing as it is my Birthday in 1 month my mom has been asking me what I want for my Birthday. Money is boring but useful, while actually going to see and then buy an item and waiting for it for a month is not my favourite.

I've been trying to sell my old fake footy shirts to friends so i can give the money to charity....that way I get rid of unwanted stuff and help the community a little.

Anyways, I told my mom that I would buy stuff off ebay and then my parents can just give me the stuff for my B-Day! So I bought these last night...all for a total of 25 quid...and that is including shipping.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Right, so I'm sorted. Case is helping me getting my SG Nike AZT90III's to me, as he did to get me my Arsenal shirt for the season, and now I've got my Birthday shopping sorted. I'm sorted!

Sorry to double post but I have to tell you guys about my match today.

We played against the team were level on points with us at the top of our league but they had a far superior GD. We were the only team that had beaten them before. So of course I was damn nervous...as in shaking and irregular breathing patterns, lol.
So, we went 1-0 down in the first half...Our defence messed up but I was sprinting to tackle the guy and the guy from the other team kicked me down and stood on my leg and they scored!!!:(
Then the second half started and against my very strong requests for them not to come watch, I saw my parents in the car! I was so pissed because I can't concentrate when they're watching. So I flapped the bird at them and they eventually drove off....later when I phoned my dad to pick me up, he told me to get a lift home on my finger!
Anyways, I later got fouled and I felt this intense stinging in my elbow...I pinched it and a bee sting came out...my elbow was sooooo sore.
Continuing, we eventually scored an equiliserand in the last minute we won a penalty!!! I was so nervous, but my teammate took it and scored!!! And we won 2-1!!!

Long story short: The league is in our own hands now...4 more games to play and we're 3 points ahead!:)

OK i have a crazy football injury ....

    AN INSECT BITE!

I was playing football on Thursday night trusty cuppies! And the goal that we were all playing in had all bushes behind it and i went to get one of the many balls we were using out the bush and i must have been bitten, my knee is so swollen i can't bend it and its red hot. So im not on antibiotics for it!

Oh well i least i won the game of cuppies! :D

Hahaha! And he was quite right too ;)

I don't have a problem with my parents watching because my dad had always followed my football closely when I was younger (even as far as setting up a new local team because the other one was crap!). He hasn't seen me play in a game for about 4 years so he's looking forward to seeing me this season (and I'm looking forward to him coming). The problem is my girlfriend has also decided she wants to come and watch! :( I'm going to have the worst game of my life I swear...

Oh yeah, has anyone ever had to mark out the pitch before a game? It's great fun! I spent about two and a half hours helping our manager with it this afternoon but I need to go back and finish the penalty box in an hour or so (when the cricket match has finished!). The problem is there weren't even imprints of lines so I had to measure everything and make sure it was all straight.

Yeah but half the pitches by me that are marked the lines are never straight!

Infact the pitches by me have got really rubbish there is a bit playing field by my house and it has about 6 or 7 pitches on it. The goal mouths are terrible. They have put grass seeds down but instead of lush green grass in the goal mouths these yellow weeds have grown instead. I found it funny that the pitches had been marked out but nobody had decided to prune the garden in the goal mouth and there are games over there tomorrow.

I like going and watching the grown men play Sunday league its funny. The pitches are all too small for them and i dont even know why they bother having a ref when they play there own rules most of the time anyhow!!

My Dad doesnt know anything about football because he doesnt like it so i've never minded him coming to watch me play. After all he's supported me and brought me boots when i've needed them and acted as my taxi service no matter where i've needed to go and play. I don't think i'd ever flick him off!

The pitches round here now just look like sand-pits after the summer. The one we're playing on tomorrow is also on a slope!

It still doesn't beat this pitch I played on a couple of times in Stafford... there was a tree overhanging one edge so throw-ins and goal kicks often got stuck, and there was a huge incline at one edge for the last 5 yards of the pitch. It sunk down about 3 foot so was really steep. You were ********ed if you were playing left back or right wing!

Just got in from finishing the last penalty box. I also notice the other penalty box isn't straight but I don't care! We'd better win tomorrow and people had better buy me beers at the pub afterwards! :D

Yeah but maybe they just came a bit earlier to pick you up and its not like they got out the car or anything! - lol

Anyhow. I was just watching Match Of The day and the Liverpool v West Ham highlights and i noticed that Crouchy seems to have extensions on the bottom of his shorts due his big long legs!

Loo, my mate had exactly the same injury this week. Right on his knee cap. It was funny to see him limping round the gum coz his leg literally wouoldn't straighten, and him going through his entire collection of trackyB's as he didn't want the world to see the true nature of his injury whilst wearing shorts (had been giving it the "sporting knock/ligaments most likely" BS). As is only right, whilst at the end of his stockpile of poor choice gym attire, his bite finally got too breaking point, and errupted out of a pair of white nike shell-style 3/4's, I didn't get to see this but apparently it went str8 thru the material making the leg look like a margherita all puss yellow and blood red, and being 3/4's it also ran out the bottom and has stained his white AF1's in the same nice color scheme!
However he could walk better almost straight away once it'd burst!

R&W, my solution when I had the problem of parents watching was to A) ban my old man from abusing the refs or he'd be banned from watching completely (made things better and he became our goalkeepers support as the guy needed the confidence) and B) got my manager to talk my moms into being tea lady, which basically got her in the clubhouse and out of the way for the majority of the game!

Darren, my sunday team was actually formed in honor of the Cosmos, hence our Cambridge Cosmos name. And given our clubs average age of 34, most of our players are actually old enough to remember them!

Its a bit better today the swelling and redness has gone down loads thanks to the antibiotics it just ITCHES! :( I can bend my leg though. Plus when my ball went into the bushes it got a low puncture when i thorn stuck in it. So other than kicking some lads asses at football it was a bad Thursday night for me. I've been told to rest my knee until the swelling goes down because if i walk around on it the swelling just comes right back. I'd love to know what the hell bit me!!

Well as I said yesterday, I fell on a bee in my match and got stung in the elbow. Last time I got stung on my foot it got really bad...and my elbow is really swollen! Its like really big and red and soooo itchy and I had to put some random cream on it...that isn't helping! I find it so weird that both Apple and I got stung yesterday while playing footy!

In this thread it often seems as though people just post completely unrelated replys, so i thought I would continue the trend, lol.;)

I played for my school today in one of THE most dodgy places in Cape Town...I'm talking about gang war area and all...not a place you want to go to. First time I got the ball, and I got a lifted leg with studs up straight into my balls. Second chance, I go past one player, knock it past the second, and i get an elbow lifted in my eye...and the ref, who has no front teeth, lets play go on. At half time I go ask him and he says that i ran into his elbow! At the beginning of the second half we were 1-0 up, and the ball is crossed to the edge of our box...the guy stops the ball with his forearm and while we appeal, he scores. The goal is allowed and the ref says that the guy was trying to control the ball, and he moved and it hit him in the arm! By then, I'm so p'd off, so I run to cllose down a guy with his back to me...I swifty get an elbow into my muth and my lips are bleeding...

Any1 want to copme play footy in South Africa? Its great fun:rolleyes:

    GOON SOCCER!

I found out that my Crest Spinbrush Toothbrush, doesn't actually spin, it just vibrates. Lying sacks of $hit in the dental care industry.

    That makes me mad.

Yeah, I'm not to much of a fan of traditional healthcare. If I was sick I would go to the doctor and he would just prescribe (sp) some medicine that he gets a pay-off for recommending, and that would overcharge for his useless 'help'.
Now what I do like are homeopaths. I know this Swedish guy that is THE smartest guy I have ever met, and can analyze and sort out almost any problem...properly. Bloody awesome to be honest!:p

    I'M FIT! I'M FIT!

I've been passed fit to play on Sunday! HOORAY! No damage to my foot now, so as you can tell I'm quite chuffed. Don't think I will be wearing my white MVIII though...

Anyway, my camera phone is fixed now, so I will take some pics of the boot and put them up tomorrow. I'M FIT!!!!

I got my cast off yesterday, my right leg is suffering serious muscle astropy (my left leg is at least 1.5x times bigger). After about seven weeks of not washing my right leg, I washed it for the first time yesterday. I washed/scrubed it about seven times and all this hair fell off, skin was peeling off, and my skin looks unhealthy. It looks funny when I wear shorts. Can't walk on it without the crutches, but in two, three weeks I should be back to my normal self. Then, I get to start the real physical therapy.

The funny thing is that karma seems to be going around my team at the moment. I told myself I didn't need those boots about a million times, bought them, and look what happened. Another example is that one of my team mates has done his knee in quite badly (damaged ligaments and cartilage). It wouldn't be so bad, but the karma part is that he suffered the injury while training for another team he was thinking of joining! Strange, eh?

I can't believe how f'n lame my school is! My mom received a phone call from one of the teachers, complaining that my hair was too long. She thinks he's a tosser and so do I and I can't believe a school wastes their time checking on petty things like that while there are far more worse and important things to deal with. I was actually planning to get a haircut very soon, but now I don't want to get one because i don't feel like listening to the tw@t. Nevertheless, I have a hair appointment on Friday and its getting short.
