    Saturday August 26th @ 17:15
    Ligue 1 Matchday 4
    Stade Du Ray

Lyon will hope to keep their winning ways that gave them a 2-1 win over Bordeaux last week.

Nice look to get their first win of the season, after losing last week at Toulouse. They have 1 point from 3 games, a draw with Nantes.

again a great game ! this year, L1 is very exiting !
very intense game, hostile atmosphere in the stadium with all those exited Nice fans, ideal to prepare fothcoming important games.

Nice was lucky to open the score, but vahirua scored a splendid goal !
Lyon dominated the whole game (apart maybe the last 10 minutes of the first half).
fred and juni were not very good.
juni was substituted at the half time ba the powerful and skilled karlstrom.
fred (who lost every ball he touched. his technical skills are very low. he is only good in front of the net) was susbstitute 20 minutes from the end by Benzema who was as brillant as usual. he turned each ball he touched into dangerous action and opportunities.
I was happy to see squillaci instead of caçapa who has never been a very good player (but caçapa remains a leader in the locker room, that is why he needs to play sometime to stay a real member of this team.
in attack, malouda+wiltord+benzema : impresive

Aulas said at the end that a "big name" might sign at Lyon by the end of the week end...

I don't know who this "big name" would be... =) there's nobody left really... Ronaldo?

I would have watched the match in my apartment, but the channel was distorted, so I jumped on the metro to vieux lyon!

I sat next to a guy from Nice, he was sad that the entire bar was cheering but him.

Fred isnt off to a good start. People who were predicting a big year from him might be proven wrong. They definately need another attacker.

Nothing against OL, but we can't forget that 2 of the goals were luck/chance...
Handball, and the diflection. They shouldn't have let in the first goal even though it was the best goal of the game.

Källström has been great till now, it seems he's been with Lyon for the last 2 years…

    I guess he'll start within a few games…

Wiltord was precious too and Malouda is on his way to become a leader…

i cant sing Benzema's praises enough. 2 goals?

this kid has the maturity on the pitch of a 25 year old. and so cool under pressure.

i'm predicting he will be the next great French striker by 2010.

props to guignol, he's been touting this kid since forever, and now we're starting to see benzema realize his incredible potential. If this goal scoring rate continues, 65 mil will be a bargain for everyone's favorite oligarch!
