Bievenue, Patrick. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=329504 That thread has some insight about Lyon. You'll love the city. I've been there twice in the last 2 years and the people are really friendly. They also love their food and L'OL.
salut Patrick, I gratuated from Université Jean Moulin Lyon III (management degree with major in marketing). that's funny, when I was student I was considering going one year at missouri university. finally I chose to go to Valencia in Spain (which was very cool by the way, and it was the season the team reached the champion's league final against bayern munich, so it was a very good football year for me !). you will find all the information you need on this page of the OL website : http://www.olweb.fr/index.php?lng=fr&pid=507001 a ticket for a L1 OL match in Gerland will cost you between 15€ and 60€. (more expensive for ASSE, OM and PSG games) and tickets for Champions's League games are way more difficult to buy, and obviously more expensive than L1 games. about clubs, I think you will easyly know them by attending every "soirées étudiantes" that take place every thursday night in a lot of clubs. 4 mouths will be very short, but I hope you will enjoy your stay in Lyon. if you need some tips about Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, feel free to ask me.
Bon match!, je regardais dans une bar a Vieux Lyon.. Je pense que je y irai tout le match de Olympique Lionnais. Le bierre est bon =)
