    Unlucky!

Just follow medical advise and you'll soon be back up and kicking a ball again.

I feel your pain man, I broke my tibia July 8th (middle of summer). But I'm finally getting my cast off next monday. Two weeks of rehab, then 3-4 months of physical therapy with light ball training in the latter months. I'll be lucky to start playing again in January.

Injuries are part of the game. Just keep your head up and stay positive about it.

Ah that sucks my brother broke both his fib and tib in spring. He was orignally gonig to be in a cast for six months but instead got surgey and had a metal rod placed in his leg. Well he was walking within a few weeks and a coupel of days ago he was playing with us a bit, not at 100%, but hes lucky to have had that option and been able to get back on his feet so fast.

I don't think it matters what football team you support. As Football lovers you have to agree that this is a great sight to see :

Sounds brilliant Nafi. I used to play alot of cricket up until the age of about 11 and I really enjoyed it, but I felt soooo sick after the 1999 WC when Alan Donald screwed up vs Aus in the Semi-Final and the whole Hansie Cronje match-fixing scandal that I just lost interest. I still go and play in the nets from time to time because I really like bowling. My friends take their cricket seriously but I still manage to bowl them out almost first ball most of the time...I'm a pace bowler. However, I am damn scared of the ball and refuse to bat...so that cancels out my bowling!:p

KL must have been brilliant...still one of my favourite destinations in the world....it honestly feels like home....seeing as it was for a year! I wish I still lived there. How was it?

Edgar Davids is now wearing blacked out World Cups.

Went to the game tonight and he was excellent. It was his best game in a Spurs shirt and he was the man of the match for me and the majority of others who went to the game.

Also, if you notice this picture:

Lennon has his socks cut off at the ankles and pulls them up over his knees while he warms up. I've seen them like that before but from a distance it just looks like tubi-grip or something that keeps his shin pads in place. You can tell from that picture they're actually his Spurs socks that have been cut.

I saw that picture earlier. I think he does what we were talking about a while ago where he cuts the feet out of his socks and tucks them into sports socks. Some players tape them but i don't think lennon does.

Yeah, I was going to say that I'm not sure Puma would be too happy with that umbro logo being on display over their socks!

Lennon is one of those switchers. I think a lot of players wore adiadas at the world cup like him because of them sponsoring the event, and well he got a contract from nike to wear vapors but wow lol he adverts a lot of brands :D

He was wearing Adidas all the time he'd been at Spurs (started out with the F50+) so I'm sure he was on an Adidas contract. I guess he just had a change of heart after the WC or maybe his contract ran out or something.

Looking throught Getty images. I have to say Lennon is my kind of player wearing lots of different colourways for the boots! Hahaha!

But lets face it Lennon was fairly 'unknown' before the world cup. So maybe he just got offered a better boot deal with Nike. But he was one of the few players who actually wears his tunits with the tongue still on!!
