He started, and "starred"! Despite the loss Thought some might like a read. Source: http://www.queensparkrangersfc.com/reports.htm
Awesome read, thanks for it. Just a note, due to copyright restrictions we can't reproduce full-text articles on the site. In future, best to post just an excerpt with a link to the whole thing.
there is a fair dealing provision as a defence against infringement of copyright when one is reporting the news, though i'm not entirely sure how that would apply to an internet forum..
No worries mate. I was mindful mind you- I thought I satisfied copyright restrictions by quoting a source and a link. Will not post full article in future.
As we're a US-based website, in general we act under US Copyright Law and the exemptions therin regarding 'fair use'. BigSoccer policy, based on legal advice, is not to actually host any copyrighted material for which the rights are not owned by either BigSoccer or the member posting it. We encourage a summary or quoted excerpt and a link to the source instead. Press releases and other documentation that has expressly had the copyright on it waived are a different matter, but as a matter of courtesy to other members we still encourage linking to a source.
of course! i didn't consider the fact that the site is under a different jurisdiction. Anyhow, back on topic... Though i would've liked Ward to stay in the A-League, it's great to see he seems to be doing well over there. I'll be looking forward to seeing him play when Fox broadcast the QPR fixture later this month.
Same here, I understand he wanted to leave Perth but it would of been good to see him still stay in the A-League, I have no doubt he would be lining up against Kuwait in a couple of weeks if he had. But he is still an aussie and I will support him whever he goes!
well they drew with leeds the other night 2 all. not sure if he played but he only thought that came to my mind was bloody ward!!!!! but it is awesome he is over there , says alot for the a league. hope he gets snapped up to premier
Didn't have much of an impact against Leeds, but yeh good to see him go straight to the starting line-up of one of the potential Championship challengers
Ward just scored against Southend in the Championship. Its only early days but he seems to be making quite an impact at QPR.
According to tribalfootball Fulham are having a look at signing him, sounds good but it is tribalfootball after all! But it is good to see Wardy making such a impact up north.
Would be a huge move! From Perth Glory to Championship to Premiership in just a matter of months. Personally I would like to see him play at least a season at QPR before moving to the premiership. From all report his performances in the championship have displayed great techinical ability but if there have been any crtiticisms it is that he hasn't yet got up to speed with the speed of the championship. I'd hate to see him bench warm at Fulham for a year. QPR gave him this chance and I'd read many opinions from QPR fans placing alot of faith in him as their big hope. Would like to see him repay QPR for at least a season. His value can only go up!
One of the better players in the A-League but I didn't think he was really that outstanding last year. Very impressived with the lad - making an impression in the Championship and getting EPL interst
