Gah, it really chapped my ass that he was telling people who were interested in really getting into futbal to read up on how to view the European clubs. Can't we, as the honourable mention team, get a bone here?

A little blurb about how MLS, while certainly not one of the best leagues, isn't as bad as most Euro-snobs think? In fact, it isn't bad at all...

we didn't look like a world power tying chitcago

It's Sports Illustrated, it's just a tossed bone

frankly we should toss it back because some giant dogs might come around the corner and rip us to pieces

Two reasons. Andrei Shevchenko and Micheal Ballack.

'Cos great players have never flopped upon moving leagues

They have proved exactly 0 with Chelsea yet. And neither of them had stellar World Cup preformances, either.

Yeah, I got a chip on my shoulder, but then again, power rankings (especially in Soccer) are pretty stupid.

actually, i think power rankings work much better in soccer than in any other sport, especially since the results are there in an easy to understand points setup, power rankings are supossed to show who's in form, and who's not, and soccer has the best measuring stick for that, although for the entire globe that's rather difficult, since most teams aint even playing right now, and many are hitting midseason form

Well I guess that settles it since Barcelona are at #2!

The power rankings will get real when DC United defeats Real and passes Barca in the rankings!

Of course we can settle this in Barra, but I heard you have a tendency to sit during games! ;)

Actually the fact that Chivas is #10 is more laughable than Barcelona at #2. In any case, I stand by my statement.
