Not too shabby...I've always liked Adidas stuff. Not sure on that collar, though. I'll probably get one.

Red-Home collar is a bit big and floppy like the Brummies from one/two years ago.

Yellow looks solid. Rough color to buy though. I don't know if I want to be "that guy with the yellow jersey".

Besides the jerseys, anyone else excited just to see a picture with four world-class players modeling our kit? Reina, Alonso, Carra, Gerrard... some great years ahead.

good design, basic but tough. the last time i bought a red jersey before the season starts in 2004, we end up winning the european cup.

The yellow is much better than two years ago. The CL change kit also looks manageable when the players are wearing it, so I'm not as apprehensive.

Will the away GK kit be different, because it seems like it blends too easily with the yellow to be considered distinct?

I'm not terribly fond of the yellow either, though I would agree that it looks better than the 2004-05 yellow kits.

The red home and the away CL kits, however, look very sharp, as does the keeper kit. I'm happy to see more green incorporated into the kits this season.

If I get one with a number, it'll likely be Xabi Alonso's #14.

Did you guys see the new number design? Under one of the pictures of Stevie it says that the numbers behind him are the "old style" and to look at the online store for the new design. I'd post a link, but it looks like they've removed them since I checked this morning. The new numbers look just like the ones that the France NT wore during the World Cup.

I always thought that all EPL matches required kits to have league uniform numbers same as everyone else.

Maybe in Europe they will be different.

its ok with the old style. the collar is nice and smart-look. the adidas fabric should be like my WC06 france jersey, which is quite similar with our previous reebok red jersey. the silhouette-liverbird emblem at the bottomback is very cool too.

overall, the design is good. i hope replica jerseys should not be like as what gerrard wear. if you look closely at gerrard's shirt emblem, there is a minor stretch on the fabric which never happens on previous reebok jersey.:)

That's what I thought as well. Am I naive in thinking that perhaps the league numbers are changing for the entire league? I'd be sad to see them go.

Nice shirts but those collars are fugly. I prefer the . .forgive me. . Chelski collars on their Adidas shirts.

I do agree with you about the collars. The jerseys definitley could have done without them...

But I'm sure it will grow on me shortly after it arrives in the mail in the next few weeks.
One thing's for sure, the jerseys still look a heck of a lot better than all the other EPL teams.

Including the team you just had to mention.
