    Re: UEFA U19 in Poland

The games are being played in Poznan, w Wronek, and w Grodzisku Wielkopolski.

It's a long hike for me, as i'm currently in Radom, so about 6 hours one way. My flight leaves on the 20th, so hopefully I can catch the opener against Austria.

Admission is free!, so if youre around come by. It's a great oppurtunity to see our stars of the future, in Cywka, Fojut, Janczyk etc.

By the way, the top 6 teams get an automatic pass into next summers UEFA U-21 Championships, in Toronto, Canada. So, as long as we dont finish last in our group, we will make it to the second biggest event on FIFA'S calender.

I will. For me it's just 30 minutes by tram :)

I can't wait to see our young boys in action. We've got a decent team, that's for sure, but - especially in the second group - the competition is very tough. Faithfully we can make it to the semis, which would be a satisfaying result in my opinion. It's all up to Lech Poznan four (Burkhardt, Czarnecki, Marciniak, Strugarek) now. Perhaps Janczyk will help them to defend the honour of Polish nation ;)

    Just kidding :)

    done.

sorry about mixing up the two tournaments Jabo, i read through it quickly and didnt think twice..

Sucks about the loss, I watched the game, but I had no idea who anyone was as I missed the pre-game ceremonies, and no one had names on the back. Some of the plays were good, but I think I miss over analytical, as I'm sitll used to the World Cup level of play.

ale kurwa dali im, great win for the guys, that should get everyone happy again, and it sets up 2 great last matches for teams in Group A.

I'm very happy with the high goal total, as that should help us avoid being last in our group, and therefore, get us into next summers U-20 tournament.

On a sidenote, Janczyk definately opened lots of peoples eyes in this game, what a player.

Awesome. Finally something positive. Unfortunate loss in the opener, but w/e at least now our chances of advancement are in our hands once again.
Would be great to see a similar result in the EURO qualifying :D .
