Chris Sharpe (GK) has signed for Danish 1st division club Viborg.

  4. Greg Holman back to Feyenoord

Greg Holman has been recalled from Excelsior by Feyenoord. He probably will join the youth team. I think that that is not a good idea, because with Excelsior he would get "Eredivisie" first team experience against better defenders and tactically savvier opponents than with the youth team.

Michael Thwaite finally after alot of drama getting released from his Romanian club, started training with Wisla Krakow. Jacob Burns is on the books there as well. I also believe Carney trialled there earlier in the year so great to see Aussies making a impression on the club.

    Following article is in Polish:

As a Polish born aussie im happy to see Australian players playing in Poland. Wisla is by far teh biggest club in Poland at the moment. Hope all goes well for the boys.

Re: Greg Holman back to Feyenoord

If a player is called back from loan, then it is almos 99% positive that he will play in the first team on return. Because by recalling players it also costs a fair amount of money, as the other clubs more than likely pay for the players wages.

Wigan move for Leicester defender Kisnorbo
    tribalfooball.com - July 06, 2006

Wigan Athletic are weighing up a bid for Leicester City defender Patrick Kisnorbo.
The Leicester Mercury says Wigan have already expressed an interest and Foxes boss Rob Kelly knows the parlous financial state of City leaves his squad wide open to predators.

Kisnorbo, who is in the middle of new contract talks with City, said: "As for the speculation, football talk is football talk and I don't take any notice. Flattering? Of course, it always is but, until it is black and white, it is only talk."

    Boston, Northampton keen on McBreen
    tribalfooball.com - July 07, 2006

Boston United are eyeing off contract Falkirk striker Danny McBreen.
The Aussie forward is currently trialling with Northampton, which already has Aussie Pedj Bojic on it's books.

Swindon trials for Aussie striker Brownlie
    tribalfooball.com - July 08, 2006

Swindon have handed trials to released Queensland Roar striker Royce Brownlie.
Brownlie is one of several trialists that have joined the Robins for pre-season training and all are likely to get a run-out for the Robins in their first friendlies against Forest Green Rovers and Cirencester Town.

    Chippers to Charlton?

News is that Charlton are interested in the signing of our beloved and very versatile left-back Scotty Chipperfield.

    http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=4601

I know its tribalfootball, but recently their articles have been pretty truthful and spot on.
I'd love to see Chippers in the Premierleague. He's already 30 and this would be his last chance to play outside of Switzerland.

    Re: Chippers to Charlton?

Mate i have read alot of stuff of Tribalfootball and it has become true later on so this news could be true you know..

if Chipperfield went anywhere i would like it to be Boro he went to because of Viduka and Schwarzer and Jones being there meaning he would fit in well because of that

tribalfootball is not all bullshit. A lot of articles are, but you can tell which ones are bullshit and what aren't.

This has also been reported in a few English papers. BBC and Sky Sports reported this yesterday. Apparently Charlton put in a £400k bid but Basel want £1mil.

Goodluck to Chippers in whatever happens to him. An underated player with a massive heart.

    Love Chippers.

Just hope he doesn't 'do a Skoko' and not get a gig in the EPL.

    Re: Chippers to Charlton?

Possibly a bit of confusion here. Maybe the report you read was quoting the value in $AUD - £400GBP = about $1mil AUD.

Either way, good luck to Chippers

Ljubo Milicevic has signed a 3-yr deal with Swiis club Young Boys, a improvement club wise, but nothing compared to the talks of him moving to the Bundesliga. Further hurt for him missing the world cup maybe? Let's hope the new coach likes him so we don't lose him like Zelic

The A-League has missed out on Tony Popovic as Popa signed with Qatari club Al Arabi along with Jay Jay Okocha. It's only a one yr deal so maybe we'll see him next season after he's cashed up in the oily sands

Wilkshire has won a trial with FC Twente

Should be a good move for him if he manages to impress.
