those juve kits are gonna look excellent in serie b:rolleyes:

question: now that juve won't be playing top flight footie in serie A and CL, does nike have the right to sever their sponsorship/contract??? just curious

Juventus have a reported 14 million fans in Italy alone, i doubt Nike will drop them, i think the same will go for Tamoil...

But they will lose investment and might have to give up the money. But anyway Fulham will have to wear a 3rd kit because it clashes with Newcastle kit.

i agree that they are one of the most followed teams in the world, however nike and tamoil are paying them mucho $$ because of the exposure their respective companies get from juve playing on TV = with no serie A or CL (which is where the money is at) exposure, wouldn't nike and tamoil not to have to pay them so much???? i mean, how much exposure does serie B games get???

    just a thought.....

i suppose it depends if their is a relegation or gross misconduct clause in the contracts?

but all 4 clubs are going to appeal in the morning, and the European places have a deadline of 25 July to get the results of any appeal, I think Juventus got what they deserved but the other clubs have been hard done by, i mean AC Milan did not get relegated but a 59 point penalty is a bit harsh...

juve changed their logo couple of seasons back, and they decided that the stars (one for every ten serie A titles won) shouldnt be part of the logo, so the stars are put somewhere else. you can see on the new jersey that the stars are put on the sleeve.

think I am going to buy the new juve kit, i will still support them even if they relegate to serie C. I get the new kit as a collection, i mean, what is the chance in your life time that you can see juve play in serie B? haha

yes, if there is a clause in the contract a sponsor cand rip off relations with a club (dind't Vodafone did this with MAn U ?) ...
The most recent case that I'm aware of it's adidas with Saudi Arabia (after WC 2002 and 8-0 defeat against Germany)
but on the other hand Juve will get maybe not as much exposure but enough that nike will stay (+ i don't think that Juve will stay more than 1 year in serie B) .... just think of how much press and tv stations will do to get juve televise and coverd .... especialy the first and las games of the 2006-2007 season

btw how come Herenveren always get the old umbro logo ?

Vodafone pullled out but had to pay a futher 12 months on the contract as a clause to leave, a bit like chelsea who have just paid umbro 26,000,000 to buy out the 4 years left, but people are saying adidas paid most of that for them.

Herenveren have the old logo their because its last years design shirt like last years lyon and england home, dont like their home shirt ewww

New Chester City Away modled on the new brazil shirt, pitty the seals wont play like the samba boys this year  althou they do have their own fat ronnie

Yeah, I've been wanting to see Auxerre's forever now, so I went hunting on their website too.

The more I look at the Man U jersey, the more I like it. When you first see the AIG, it looks too big, but after a while you get used to it and the jersey as a whole just looks classy.

did you guys notice the Orlando Pirates, the team Man Utd had a friendly with, their kits were the new Adidas template, but the Adidas logo was on the left side, instead of the middle, like other kits. and there was an absence of the TeamGeist logo on the sleeves.. ill try to get a pic..

    pics:

    logo not in the middle:

    no TemGeist logo on sleeve:

looks better with the logo in the left not the middle, IMO..maybe the should make the other Adidas-sponsored teams' kits like that. looks weird with the clum logo on the right but the Adidas logo on the middle...

well juventus is definately keeping nike for this season, cos the shirt that was on this thread has no stars above the logo, which is what happens if u have a star in Serie A and you are playing in the lower divisions

and does anyone have a pic of AC Milan's home shirt, is it like Argentina's?

Several teams like Lyon do this for example a different sponsor on the away kit so they gain more money. Its weird but everyone gets use to it. Anyway Im not a big fan of Uhlsport but Auxerre away kit is proper nice espically the logo at the side of Auxerre. Well Done Uhlsport.
