Homevideo from the stands in Nurnberg

we have come a long way as fans of us soccer. just as our team, announcers, venues, etc continue to develop so will our fans. wish i could have been there.

 

just watched the video and def. saw myself and my wife in there, we were sitting in row 15 seats

 

Nice job and Im surprised this is the only video Ive seen so far from the stands. On ORKUT Brazilian fans of my Brazilian club Inter have a whole community just for Video Media from the stands, some guys film everytime Inter attacks and then posts the goals...for example....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq8GPKG0OUo

I just uploaded one of my videos from the digital camera of the national anthem during the us ghana game. It was louder than it sounds on the video but thats because the mic on the camera is tiny.

That gave me chills.

I had never heard so many Americans singing the National Anthem together at a game before this World Cup. I usually sing it softly (mainly because I sing badly) to myself. At the Italy and Ghana games I was blasting it out at the top of my lungs along with everyone around me. It was a moving experience.

The US crowds were fabulous at both of those games. The singing, chanting, cheering and camaraderie were beyond belief.

 

Here are my other videos from the camera. They arent that good but at least a grabbed a few. During games I get to into them that I forget to take pictures and record things. My stuff on the camcorder of the parties is much better and the quality isnt quickcam looking.

I did notice that we were so much louder for ever game post gelsenkirchen. I think the heat and long journey to the stadium wore everyone out, including the czechs.

yeah, that gives me chills, too. I sang the anthem so loudly at the Italy game that Italian fans in front were looking back in shock and awe. My son asked me to tone it down for Ghana. I did, just a little bit. The atmosphere at those games was utterly awesome.

The National Anthems at those games were just amazing . That was the loudest I hAve ever sang in my life . It gives me the chills just thinking about it .

 

Thanks for posting the video. I was just thinking about that moment yesterday. Thinking that was one loud goal celebration. We were way up at the top of the stadium giving all we had for team US. Thanks again.

 

NICE!! All of them gave me some degree of chill. I have a few from the Gelsenkirchen game in front of Brauhaus Hibernia. As soon as I get them posted I'll give a link. There is one that is quite nice of everybody underneath the flag chanting... can't remember which one at this time. Good times good times.
