Cullen had a dangerous high kick, almost castrated him. For some reason the LDA guy took umbrage. Maybe it was for a handball. He didn't even come close to handling it, but then he didn't come close to fouling him, either. Who knows. Even if he did think he handled it, why the red? Did he think he would have done it on purpose??? He beat the guy to the ball, and was clearly in a good defensive position. Very strange. Or maybe not.
Relevence (isn't that a coaches' decision)? Say what you want, without the help of the blind guys with the whistles, la liga would be looking awfully foolish right now. Good luck in the next round without a double-dose of home cooking.
