The demand for this thread was palpable, so here it am. Dr. Kenneth Cooper hath scored. At the half, it's 1-0. Colorado is currently being outplayed by the Westerners.
Can't really tell much about what is happening in the game from listening to the radio broadcast. Must be about 70% "color" in the broadcast. I keep wondering, "Is there a stoppage of play?" and then realizing that the game has apparently been going on for a while without any play by play.
Ramon off in the 51st for Wagenfuhr according to MLSnet matchtracker. Is he hurt or is Clarke just going into a defensive shell with a 1-0 lead?
What a lifeless affair. I'm tempted never to attend another FCD match as long as Clarke is the manager.
Ramon took a knock a couple of minutes before the sub and stayed down longer than normal. He didn't seem to be visibly hurt, but Wags hurriedly ran from the endline and prepared for the sub right after the play.
Nunez should never have played....hardly practiced, still not fit, Mina would have been a better option from the get go....and yes, I was at the game.
My guess is he burned Eric Denton, but it was at an unbelievably sick angle. We didn't think it was going in, but that ball just rocketed past Cannon and smack into the lower right corner of the net. Kenny Cooper gets rep for being the first player to (kind of) jump into the Inferno, too!
great lay off by Ruiz too....should be a "goal of the week" contender , especially as hardly any were scored....
Re: video Guys it wasn't that spectacular, the flick by Ruiz to lead Cooper into space was the most spectacular part of the goal to me. For Cooper's shot think Arturo Alvarez vs Chicago this season except on the right side.
