I'm guessing that these forums get a large boost during WC season but what about after? Will you guys still be here? Were there guys to post between 2002~2006? Anyone going to follow K-league?

I usually don't post and just try to learn from the other, more knowledgeable (is that a word?? O.O) posters but I'd like to follow the K-league and the players....learn more about the sport.

I have posted K-league's latest results and standings until lately.
I will post these like always.

personally i think Korea NT will not improve without domestic league's improvemonet, so my concern about K-league will not stop.

    gochuhang,

I saw your offer of the Swiss-Ukraine ticket in the other thread. That really got to me, almost like that picture of Lee Chun-Soo bawling his eyes out after the match.

Well I'm an Australian and since their move to AFC, I've adopted Korea as my second team to support.Any information on the K-League and players to keep an eye out for would be greatly appreciated.

Don't like our fans? Hahaha.I didn't know that there was that many of us to dislike. We're still fighting an uphill battle to get the sport fully accepted here and I wasn't aware we'd already drawn tension. We do get rather passionate at times but its nothing to be taken the wrong way.Despite this apparent dislike, I still want Korea to be strong and will always root for them from now on as my second team. :)

I hope Korea wins the 2007 Asian Cup, because it's been like 50 years since we've won that tournament.

    Hmmm...

Well, i have been a part of this Forum for a few years now... no point in quitting now, eh? lol

Back then, there was no such thing as a "Korea NSR" forum. Like Brasil NSR, we need to have a continuing series of "Sexy Girls" threads ;)

But seriously, the thought of leaving or quitting this forum for me was never entertained

    Hey mate!

You've chosen a great team to support ;) Hopefully in four years, Australia and Korea will represent Asia in South Africa

Just stick around and you'll find heaps of info concerning the K-League, the KNT, Korean footballers and everything else Korean

Heaps of luck to you against Italy; beat them for us! ;)

I hate to feel sorry for anythng especially ourselves but Im a bit depressed about getting knocked out and how we have to wait another 4 years for the world cup again. To be honest, I think we looked a lot stronger in a couple of the friendlies we had leading to the WC, i.e., Sweden but then we just seemed to revert back to our archaic ways of not being able to control the ball, not being able to pass...faack! I love this team and will alway support it but to see us play that way all three games was a bit of a letdown to me.

It almost seemed like our skills were comparable to 1998. What the hell is up with that? Not to mention the mentalilty aspect of constantly being stuck within the group stages and not going further. That conditioning aspect concerns me.

Baaah...Im just venting fellas. I just hope in my lifetime that I will see a Korea that is skilled and considered a top 16 team consistently.

I'm kind of mad at Italy for laughing at us and calling the bad calls against the Swiss justice. So I wish Australia the best of luck to send the Italians packing.

I feel your pain and agree completely. When the KFA gets its act together, and the players start playing with more confidence and consistency, Korea will start winning World Cups. I'd really love to see Korea win the World Cup in my lifetime.

I hope that the South Korean team won't rely on long balls as much as they did during this period... They just don't wanna face the fact that long balls are no good for them... or at least, they're not ready for those kinds of play yet because they get raped or outchallenged by bigger defenders... the NT should get more players abroad, and get them to feel the european and even the south american type of play... but that last one all depended much on the outcome of this wc... I hope some euro clubs will snatch some of KNT's players

Again, I'm sorry you guys were knocked out.Believe me I know how bad you feel.In 1998 we had Iran begging for mercy. Then some idiot got involved in proceedings and we lost all the momentum we had.It wasn't an excuse for the result, but it had the same rip your heart out and stand on it feeling that you're probably feeling right now.Again, my heart is with you man. We'll probably be out after Tuesday so then you'll probably be telling me the same thing. :)

They are a top 16 team anyway. You've proven that you are the best Asian team. And that is definitely something to be proud of.Look at the smart mouth Iranians, where did they finish up? In other words, end of story.Take care bro, hope to talk soon.

    Iran 1 Angola 1
    Iran 1 Mexico 3
    Iran 0 Portugal 2

    1-Draw 2-Loss 6-Goals conceded.

    That says it all :D
The team who can't even beat Angola claiming they can beat France? Heh...

There's the Asian Cup Qualifiers this year, the Asian Cup in 2007, the Summer Olympics in 2008 (if we qualify), World Cup Qualifiers from 2008-2009, and oh by the way, there's that crap league called the K-league. So time will go fast. Now, let's root hard for Jeonbuk.

Only if there was a real Gwangju team...:(

    Any specific reason why?

Is it weird when you see our KNT players play against each other in dif clubs??
