Hello everyone. Just found out about this web site this morning. I have been in Germany since Friday. Heading to Nuremberg tomorrow (Wednesday). Staying in Furth but willing to hang in Nuremberg Wednesday nite unless there is a contingency in Furth. As far as Thursday looks like me and my friend will be going to the Barfüsser in town. Like someone else said an Irish pub in Germany for a US game doesn't make much sense. Also I have 2 tix in the corner if someone has better tix and is willing to trade please let me know. If you arrive Wed, head down to the huge biergarten in the center of town. I've been here a few days and the main plaza is the place to be. English, Spaniards, Tunisians, etc. It's a crazy place. Today it seemed like every German football fan in the region was crowded into the main plaza. About a block from the main plaza is a Mexican joint called Enchilada's. I keep running into American's looking for tickets there. They actually have tequila and know how to make a margarita. Just be aware, the bartenders wear Mexican jersey's but they don't speak espanol! Enchilada's address: Obstmarkt 10. 90403 Nurnberg, phone 0911/2448498. Open till 1am.

it at the foot off the hill that leads up to the castle there is a wierd sculpture made of stadium seats and a bunch of vendors surrounding it. pretty hard to miss I should be there wearing my donovan jersey tonight for the holland argentina game. it's right next to one of the cathedrals.
We went to fan fest today in Nurenburg and it was cool but kinda dead. We saw the US team bus and waved as it raced by. Went to check out the Stadium but it was closed because of team practice. It is a LONG walk from parking to stadium but it's a nice walk along a lake. Saw MANY places to buy beer!!!! See y'all tomorrow!

Have all fun in Nürnberg. I went to Germany games in Dortmund and Berlin. Then I was in Gelsenkirchen and K-Town. But unfortunately I will be not in Nürnberg. Germany plays next round and I will concentrate on Germany of course. Hope USA advance in the group and I will see you life in quarter-finale. The march from Osheas to the train station and the train station to the stadium with all of us was amazing . there were about 2-3 hundred i would say ( i was in he front so im not quite sure how far back it went ) and as we walked and sang and chanted all the locals and police men and ghanans were coming to watch us and it turned into a parade . It was amazing . '' TRACK 2 TRACK 2 TRACK 2 '' my favorite chant of the entire trip . lol
I personally loved the Beer Garden by the S-Bahn station! What a great location. It was the perfect place to calm down after the game while having a beer and waiting for the line to the train to disappear.
