Perfect game so far.. First half is over, 3-0 in favor of Argentina..

    - Saviola: In my opinion, not only the best player of Argentina, but also of the whole World Cup so far.

    - Cambiasso: Best goal of the tournament so far.. We had seen nice goals, but they were all just beautiful shots from out of the box.. This was a beautiful play and a great definition.

    - Riquelme: Continues being the most overrated player in the history of soccer.. Hasn't touched the ball once in the match, and I think that may be one of the reasons we are up by three.

    - Maxi Rodriguez: Great first half.. One of the best on the field without a doubt..

    - Abbondanzieri: Pretty good game.. Didn't have any difficult situation, but he still caught what he needed to catch.

    - Lucho Gonzalez: Good luck.. Hopefully your injury isn't too serious..

    - Argentina's First Half: The best first half in the World Cup so far.

All we need is for Holland to win or tie, and we are already through to the next round. :)

3 goals at half time and Crespo was robbed of the fourth, in my opinion and got himself a yellow card on top for his troubles.
Very good first half. I can't really point out anything bad except for Lucho getting injured. What a shame! But when you got Cuchu coming in and scoring from that awesome display of team play and Crespo with a marvelous pass, then it's not too bad. I really hope he's okay though.
Alright, let's hope we see Tevez & Aimar this second half. I wouldn't mind holding out Messi a bit longer.
Anyone still think that Savi shouldn't start along with Crespo? What a first half by el conejito!
And to the above poster, that comment you made about Romy is so unfortunate. Watch him have a very good second half. I can't believe anyone would call him overrated. If anything, he's underrated. That is just crazy talk.

I'm f***ing stuck and work and can't see any of it. Keep getting e-mails from people telling how well Argentina are playing and how good the 2nd goal was, which is making me feel even worse. :(

Still, can't wait to see the highlights later. :D

Aqui viene el Apache! Well deserved standing ovation for Savi. What a game! Alright Carlitos, the stage is yours. Show us your domination.
Another 10 to 15 minutes, and we should see Aimar in for Romy.
Oh my God, Pato has been so solid it's not even funny. And how about Burdisso.

    Ole Apache!

Thre you have it, Messi & Tevez both in. That should make many people on this board, including myself happy. Messi should be called Flash. This guy's legs move at 100 miles an hour.
Gooooooaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllll! De Valdanito...Assited by Mr Messi. What a great pass. I am so glad Crespo got to score...He's been robbed twice already today. Can anyone agree with me that Romy is playing a lot better this half? What a pass that was to Crespo on what should have been a penalty.
Do people now see why it's so important to have guys like Apache and Messi coming off the bench? That is such a great change of pace to have in the 2nd half. And still el payaso is on the bench. What a team!
Let's hope no one gets hurt and nobody picks up a card for the rest of the game. I for one, am content!

    Vamos Albiceleste!!!! Para Siempre!

Make no mistake about it, what you're witnessing here today are the 11 that will win the World Cup.

    Abbondanzieri
    Burdisso, Ayala, Heinze, Sorin
    Mascherano, Cambiasso
    Riquelme
    Messi, Crespo, Tevez

These few minutes are just a sneak peek preview

What an amazing game.. I wasn't planning to go to school today, since I don't have anything important to do and I want to watch the World Cup.. But, after a beautiful 6-0 win, I'm pretty sure that I am going, just to rub it in the anti-Argentine Mexicans' faces. :D

On a side note Chilavert did a wonderful job on the play by play, and the other guy was complete crap.

WOW! That was such a devastating football display by ARG. I am stunned. ARG clearly have to be the odds on favorites to win the WC. What a total team effort. It was great to see Tevez, Cambiasso, and Messi come off the bench and contribute in such big ways. If Argentina are not the deepest team in the WORLD CUP, then I don't know who is???

Neutral here - I come in peace.

    Some amazing football!

Great game to watch and I'm sooo happy that someone looks worse than the USA right now.

Can't wait for the Netherlands match-up. Good luck.

Hats off to Pekerman. I pledge allegiance to never doubt him again.

What a breath taking display. We all know that Argentina is the only team capable of putting a show like that. Those pin-point passes and brilliant execution.

I salute Pekerman and all the players.
