Now that I've got your attention: Tee hee hee!

Since dear, old Ruud is currently being Beckham-ed out of Man Utd., I borrowed a copy of _David_Beckham:_The_Great_Betrayal_ (Virginia Blackburn (coincidence, I'm sure)) from my local library. (This book details the events surrounding Beckham's exile to Spain.)

When Beckham was still in his boarding days, he stayed with the Kay Family in Manchester, which is one of the homes where Mark Hughes had boarded, back in the day. In fact, they even had the same room.

"'This was the one place [David] wanted to come to because Mark Hughes was here and he was his hero,' says Annie [Kay]. 'The club wanted him to come to us as he was a very good prospect'" (Blackburn, 39).

"'[David] was always picky and he'd sort his own room out -- he said, "Give me my bedding and I'll change my bed." There wasn't a thing out of place in his room. Not like some of the others we've had here. I'd give Mark Hughes his shirts and everything and he'd drop them on the floor. I'd pick them up but he'd say, "I know where everything is if it's on the floor"'" (Blackburn, 38).

Words to live by, my friends: "I know where everything is if it's on the floor." Brilliant.

In a bag with a cat.
Beckham has said he has OCD about cleaning. Having 3 kids probably doesn't help this either.

    That's prolly why he needs a "personal" assistant :) :) :) .

Seriously, though, Tor said in an interview once that he will spend a whole evening organizing the fridge until everything is just perfect, ie all labels pointing forward, things paired up. She said that he will even go to the extent of throwing items away, if they detract from the overall appearance. She gave an example: there were 3 cans of Diet Cola in the fridge, and the fridge looked nicer with two, so he binned one of the cans. That's leadership for you.

    Go England!!
