The English I guess. I live near Baden Baden where their team is training (playing - Frankfurt, Nurmburg, Köln) and the local government is expecting around 20-30K English fans here from the middle of next week.

I think there will be a lot of Dutch fans, but many anre likely to travel into Germany on match day.

Poland, Switzerland, France would probably be next on the list, allthough a lot of them can makle short trips, as England is not mainland a lot of fans will be here for the duration.

well i know of about 20 people going to the world cup from england and of them only 1 has a ticket, and that is for game that doesn't involve england. so that gives you an idea.

some sources even say that 250 000-300 000 of polish fans may be heading to Germany but I think they are over reacting... Of course including polish imigrants you probably will see such a number of fans on the streets but maybe 100 000 are heading from Poland to Germany. Anyway, if we do good at the tournament, and we'll advance to the 1/8 I think hundreds of thousands of polish fans may want to go there, as we are a nation that gets carried on and excited very quickly... A few good matches of our team and you may see a polish invasion there;)

I'd say the Dutch for sure. England and Poland should have a fair amount of support, if 100,000 fans is any indication. Portugal also had over 1,000 fans waiting to greet them while landing in Germany. Thats a lot for just the arrival. Brazil always has good support too.

Correction, 3 to 4 thousand in the airport and more than 5 thousand welcoming Portugal at the hotel.
There's going to be a great flux of portuguese immigrants, especially from France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, etc. And there's plenty of them already living in Germany.
Support it's something Portugal can't complain about.

I guess Germans do not lough to often so that's nothing new...

Anyway, media in Poland estimate the number of Polish crowd at about 300,000 level which is possible partly due to a large Polish population in Germany.

    Well,

there are a few contenders, but England will top them all because they (100,000 according English authorities) all stay in Germany for a while (unlike border countries such as Holland and the Czechs who come over on match day and go back the same night) OK they're will be lots of Polish, Portuguese, Italian, Croatian and all the other fans from immigrant countries but that's not the same, they all reside in Germany. Lots of Mexicans expected too (20,000 for each game i heard.

In fact there's more than 1 million portuguese immigrants in France and some hundreds of thousands in the rest of Europe. When Portugal arrived at Munster, 4 thousands fans awaited them and later more than 10 000 went to see Portugal's practise. And from I watched on tv, more than half of the people interviewed weren't living in Germany.

Once I was staying at a French/Portugeese family in Limoges for one week and they told me that about 2.5 million immigrants from Portugal are living in France (the most famous is Robert Pires). Here in Germany we have a lot, too...so I'm sure their national team will have a huge support! The same counts for Croatia, Italy and a few other countries...

Every team will be supported well during the WC and I cannot see why Poland should have more fans than the other countries (f.e. the Czechs).

I read somewhere that up to 300,000 swedes were expected to visit germany (not at the same time, but during the length of the tournament). I don't know about that figure.. could be a possibility.

Countries such as Sweden and Portugal are far too small to have the most fans in Germany even Holland too although its proximity does help.

The most supported team will be Germany, for obvious reasons. Then it will be the English and Dutch. The most fans travelling from outside Europe are the Australians.
