LOL.. No. This was never a fun thread to begin with.

    No.

And for your information, I'm not a "fan" of Pohang. I do support them but I don't think of them as "my team".

And this is comming from a guy who's telling me to grow up. But since you've done plenty of growing-up to become an ideal husband-material for Korean whores, I guess you can say whatever the fcuk you want lol.

So according to your logic, all of these fake-fans who are going crazy about the World Cup and people who are doing 꼭지점 댄스 behind Kim Su-ro at Gwanghwamun are real fans.. LOL. And I actually did have a chance to go to Korea vs. USA during the 02 WC, but I had these things called school and work.

Also, I've visited Ournation at Anyang plenty of times before (although I was a bigger KBO/Hanhwa Eagles fan back then) and my dad lived in Anyang for 8 years and he was a season ticket holder until FC Circus happened.

Okay so now you even remember what I wrote in my profile lol. Wanna get off my nuts? Lee Dong-guk can move to whereever the fcuk he wants but reason why I was against his move to Suwon was because Pohang's front office tried to force him out to make some money. And then when the media talked about how Pohang were negotiating with Suwon behind LDG's back, that Kim Hyun-shik fcuker changed his words and started acting as if LDG was the one who wanted to leave the team.

Once again, you're talking about something you don't know jack shit about. You obviously have no idea about WTF was going in Pohang's front office during this off-season. Did you even hear about what Pohang did with Kim Sang-rok? Hell, do you even know who he is? Typical FC Circus clown..

Yea, I actually met Coach Hong at this restaurant before he went to Korea and I was telling him about how much I love him. And remember when I said I was yelling out "LDG, I love you" at Home Depot Center? I was doing the same to Hwang when I was at Jamsil watching Korea vs. Milan.:)

As much as I like LDG, he'll never be another Hwang Sun-hong for me. Not for now, at least.

So let me ask you this. Do you get paid to write previews and match reports for K-League matches? Because I do. Do you do anything to let people in Europe and US learn about the K-League? Because I do. I also spend pretty good amount of money every month to pay for Korean satellite to watch K-League games. Maybe I don't go around and talk about my entire life story like you do around these boards, but that doesn't mean I'm sitting in front of my computer 24/7 checking message boards. So stop your self-masturbation already.

And how many cheap-shots do you wanna take about you spending your money for the league? It's hilarious how you think your money goes into supporting the league. Money you spend to buy tickets for games are for your own entertainment. In fact, there isn't even a single K-League club that takes profit from ticket sales.

And only good thing I say about the league is when Lee is involved.... Care to explain, dipshit?

Until you come up with a proof, your speculation about their fanancial status is a fuss at best. And attendance figures they've been putting up aren't any different from what they had in Anyang. Also, do they sell FC Circus game tickets at the city hall like they did in Anyang? Do you see people wearing FC Circus jerseys on the streets on matchdays? Are those 수호신 clowns more passionate than Anyang Red?

I'm not interested about how they helped the league financially because 1) I don't think they did, 2) Even if they did, it's a fact that about 1/3 of league fans were forced to lose interest and hate the league for rest of their lives. In the long run, fans are more valuable for the league than how much money they have in their pocket right now.

I'm being realistic and honest, not stubborn. And if you ever get a chance to visit other cities such as Gwangyang and Pohang, try and check out their club houses and youth system. You'll be surprised at how many talented players they're producing through their youth system just to have more than half of them stolen by teams like Circus, Seongnam, Suwon, and Ulsan. And if you open up your mind, you'll realize that more than half of them Circus "fans" don't even know how to kick a soccer ball let alone knowing anything about the backbone of Korean football. Hell, I bet about half of those jokesters in Sang-am and Seogwipo Stadium don't even know that their team ran away from home.

WTF?? Where the hell is this coming from? There are days when I read your posts and I think you have a good understanding of football and then there are days when you have me wondering. I kind of admire your passion for football because that's something I share... but when the discussion wavers onto a tangent addressing ideal-husband stuff..hmmm

What, few pictures of empty seats that Essvee posted is not a fun thread? He and I've been going back and forth poking fun of each other's team and why are you butting in trying to turn this into some mean rivalry? Just shows you're a little boy with a short fuse. Lighten up.

Yeah, I see how quickly you became a Seoul United fan.

Now this shows how IMMATURE you are. Another fun thread where even your gay fantasy Essvee repped me for a funny post and you're calling our women "WHORES"? Once again take a deep breath and go ahead and read back what you said.

I took time off from my work and I was at the Korea vs. USA and Korea vs. Italy game. Even extended my vacation to stay in Korea little longer. I guess work and school was more important to you. Anyone who's willing to come out and support our team is a fan whether you like it or not. Definitely more of fans then an angry boy who just rants in his posts.

Really? Because of your DADDY? Why do you continue to set yourself up?

Get off who's nuts? Aren't you the one who remembered my post and called our women "WHORES"? Once again this "nut" fantasy.

    .

Then answer me this question. Why did your favorite team profile change suddenly when LDG was about to leave Pohang? You still haven't answered it.

The way you cry out for LDG's nutsack in BS I wonder what would you do for Hwang? Obviously you definitely love them more than "KOREAN WHORES"

Really? So I guess you're the one who accepted nunovalente's offer. I also got a same request so don't consider yourself special. Go ahead and go make yourself some extra lunch money. I didn't bother answering him since I have plenty.

Bring it on little girl. Just because you write a little column makes you such a fan? You're telling me the money I spend is not helping the league at all? What your community college isn't teaching class on sports economics? If my tickets and merchandising purchase doesn't help the league then you offer a proof.

The way you been going on about this "REVOLUTION" please tell me what you're doing to make it happen. Ever since Lee got injured you've been ranting and crying about this "REVOLUTION" and anti-FC Seoul movement but you just seem to be all talk and no action.

If we're talking stats then please provide me this proof of 1/3 of the league fans who lost interest for rest of their lives. Whether you like it or not the league's goal is survival. And how does it happen? It needs to make money. If ditching few hundred supporters for thousands of fans then so be it. Yes it's a sad but that's the way business goes.

Once again reality of sports economics. Whether you live in a fantasy world or not that's what's happening all over the world. Obviously you can't understand that smaller teams have to sell their players to survive. Did you even pay attention to what happened to the likes of Ronaldo, V Nisterooy, Robben, Park and Lee at PSV? Go ahead and tell them to not sell their players and see how long they last. Whether you like it's reality so deal with it. I have a better ideas since you seem to be so smart. Go and apply for a job at Pohang and convince them not to sell their youth players. I dare you.

Go ahead and call us jokesters while you're sitting at home dishing out insults to fans who make the effort to go to the stadium and cheer for our team. Continue to write and insult us at your computer while we're at the stadium enjoying the atmosphere. The fact is that the best you can do is watch it on your TV alone while we're throwing our confettis and sharing our passion with fellow fans and our players.

My other advice. You sure do love to insult other fans and anyone who disagrees with you. Yet you sure do get pissed off when someone makes a comeback. If you can't take it then don't dish it out.

    Umm.. Okay.

What relations does this have with Pohang? Bitch, I've been waiting for Seoul United ever since I became a soccer fan. So again, you talk while not knowing jack shit about what you're talking about.

Bitch, go fcuk yourself please. Call me a fake-fan, bandwagon-jumper, etcetc. And see if I give a shit.

I'm sorry for calling your women whores but what the fcuk is this "our" crap all about?

LOL.. Again, you just can't stop talking about yourself. Who the fcuk asked?

And not that I have to explain or prove anything to you, it wasn't like I couldn't watch the games if I didn't go to Korea. I have a lot of shit to take care of here in the states and that's why I haven't been able to visit my family at home since 2004.

    What because of my daddy?

Are you having too much fun with yourself or what?

First of all, I think it's hilarious how you take my bigsoccer profile so damn seriously. Second of all, I already told you how dissapointed I was with Pohang's front office during the last 2 off-seasons. Unlike you, I actually know when to disagree with which direction of a team I like is headed to. When I think they're doing something wrong, I have the balls to point my fingers and say that they're wrong. When the team I support isn't willing to respect what their fans are demanding, there's nothing wrong with having a second thought about wether I should continue supporting the team and the organization.

So what the fcuk is your point?

    Who the fcuk is nunovalente?!

Bring what on? Do you honestly think I give two shits about whether you think I'm a fan or not?

LDG getting injured has absolutely NOTHING to do with K-League's popularity and competence dying out.

Reason why I'm "ranting and crying" about this revolution crap is because I'm tired of putting up with this typical Korean 냄비 shit I see from the fake-fans and the media which always happens 2 months before the World Cup every 4 years.

Anyang Red + people in Anyang + Bucheon Hermes + people in Bucheon + league fans who enjoyed watching the Jijidae Derby = Probably more than 1/3 of the league fans. Yeah, you're right. League's goal is survival and they need to make money. So do you wanna tell me something I don't know?

So now you're saying that Anyang and Bucheon only had few hundred supporters? You're an idiot.

Again, do you wanna tell me something I don't know? Players being sold to richer clubs wasn't even the point of that paragraph. But since you brought it up, I'll tell you one thing. Those richer clubs don't pay any transfer fees to sign young players who are comming straight out of the youth teams from Chunnam and Pohang

Says a guy named dcunited4life in Korea.

    Is that right?

I don't know if I'm getting pissed off or not but it sure does look like you're getting pretty worked up, man.

    This is the great paradox.

Korean soccer did not start out like Korean (highschool and professional) baseball where there was great "local" demand for the sport. In football, the supply came first, in 1983 (probably an overnight decision made by Jun Du-hwan) and we are in the process of attempting to raise demand. Economically, it doesn't make any sense and neither does this -

In effort to embed local-ism, to raise demand, FC Seoul has set a precedent by moving cities. Although in American professional it may be common, it is an irregularity around the world. Of course, this does not justify anything but "killing the league" is suitable because it is going the other direction that the league needs to take.

For example, the draft was a bad decision the league made 2 years ago.

Now we have seen the unlikely creation of Jeju United. God knows what else? The "Supporters Union" that went on strike against the K-League association got the word that they will probably not allow anymore clubs to move cities in the future but they also ended the meeting with these words: "We are thinking of ways to prevent this. We understand its a misfortune. But if these corporate-owned teams want to move cities overnight, it is reality that there is nothing we can do about it. And this, we will try to resolve."

Of course, from a neutral perspective, FC Seoul is an attractive team to support. With a nice home stadium and great players, what more to ask for? But once again, from a neutral perspective, if we all agree that the K-League is an expanding and improving league, then moving cities destroys the on-set of localism and the steps we need to take. At this point, I wonder how many Seoullites, Suwonites, or Busanites feel that their team is "their" team.

Great decision made by GS/LG to enter a new market. But results thus far, seem lackaidaisical.

If Barcelona moved to another city, would you still support it?

Confused? Obviously there's a difference between someone who post here for fun and a little boy who's life revolves around BS.

Now, now mind your tempers little kid. You're getting riled up about someone teasing you. Sounds like you do give a shit.

You specifically called them "KOREAN WHORES". So if I wrote your "KOREAN MOTHER" is a whore, would you be offended? No I don't stoop to your adolescent level.

Then can you stop butting into my posts? Who the fcuk asked?

Then don't insult others as fake fans when they made the effort to visit and support our NT, player and a K-League club. I had a lot of shit to take care of in the states also but I made an effort to visit and cheer for our boys.

Not that there's anything wrong with it but sounds like you became an Anyang fan because of your father. I was just having fun.

Yes I am. Your immaturity and adolescent behavior is extremely funny to me. It's a slow work week so you've been my entertainment while I'm taking a break at work.

I also think it's hilarious how you looked up my old post and called people you don't even know "WHORES". Real class little boy.

Yes you sure have a lot of balls in front of your computer. Since you seem to disagree with everything the league is doing then stop supporting them and just go on with your little life.

You never replied to my old question of being a hypocrite. You made fun of FC Seoul fans who came out in numbers when Park Ju-young came to the team and yet you even validated my point more when you said you supported Pohang because of not only LDG but Hwang and Hong. Why did you criticize K-League marketing its stars when you yourself supported a team just because of the stars you "LOVE".

I guess you never got this PM from him.

    Hi there,

I hope you don't mind me contacting you through the forums, but I have been impressed with your posts on Big Soccer with regards to Korean football and have a proposition for you.

The company I work for are looking for people who can write match previews and reports for Korean first division football matches. It involves 10-20 hours of work a week and you get paid very well too -for watching and reading about football. All reports have to be in English. If you are interested or know somebody who is please email me direct and we can take it from there.

If you have any further questions or are interested, drop me a line at:

    gavstone@gmail.com

    Thanks,

    Gav

Can't see a reason why he wasn't impressed with your work.

By the way which publication do you work for? Do you have any specific articles you wrote for them?

You sure sound like it. Go ahead. Continue to make me laugh.

I was talking about your point of view when he got hurt. You seemed to get angrier with the League and just started going off on the old news of Anyang and Bucheon. Of course not to mention supporting your master Essvee's point of views.

This I agree with you. I also do get ticked off about our media's enormous attention to our NT come WC time while they minimize their coverage of our K-League.

But as I stated earlier, there are plenty of FC Seoul fans who come week in and week out to support our team. You sitting in front of a TV calling them "FAKE FANS" make you sound like a real hypocrite. You can rant on and on about Anyang and Bucheon but the fact is that we're doing something to support our league while you're just picking your nose and bitching about it through your computer.

That's your proof of stat for 1/3 of the league fans? Get real boy. I can't speak for Anyang since I moved back to Korea when FC Seoul kicked off but I've been to away games in Bucheon and their support was pitiful. There were always more FC Seoul fans and they probably had 20-30 team supporters at their home games. Those home games probably drew 3000 fans at the most when I was there. Yes SK mismanaged the club but the blame should be shared with the fans as well. There's no way SK could've continued to operate in Bucheon unless they were willing to lose tons of money.

They might have had good support while ago but it simply wasn't the case right before they moved.

If it's the case then it's a travesty. I have to put the blame on Pohang and Chunnam for just giving away their players instead of selling them. I know all about Pohang supporting Park Ju-young's trip to Brazil but shame on them for not signing up to some kind of a contract before that. Bad business move by the little guys. They only have themselves to blame. If I were you, I wouldn't blame Seoul or Suwon for "stealing" the little team's players.

Yes and I'm proud of it. I supported my home team in DC before I moved to Korea and I stick by it. It's called loyalty. Probably something you're not too familiar with. Once you start growing some pubes, you'll understand.

Really read your other replys and see who sounds like the one who's worked up.

Go ahead. Continue to keep me entertained here.

Bigsoccer sucks. I wrote a ridiculously long response but it never got posted because I got automatically logged out for some odd reason. So I'll just make it short.;)

    Want a cookie?

Reason why I criticize some of them circus fans is not because of the fact that they support their star players and you know it.

Looks like a PM from Soccer International. I got an email from them myself.

But I never got a job from them. I wrote a couple of KNT previews here and there, etcetc, but that was about it. I never worked for them for any money. I did consider it tho.

As for the place I work for, PM me if you want the phone number of a guy I send my write-ups to. He should even have some of the things I wrote which weren't even used. I also wrote couple of articles for FLAMMA about the K-League and MLS awhile back. I'll see if I can find a link.

You know what? You're somewhat right about me being angry about K-football after LDG's injury. I was so excited to see him play in the World Cup after waiting for 8 years. If you even bother to go visit some of these Korean footie sites I post in, all I ever posted for last 2 years were reviews and my thoughts about LDG, Pohang, and the KNT.

LDG's injury was like a wake up call for me. It made me realize how I was constantly blinding myself from recognizing what the real problems of Korean football were. But that's not to say that my criticism on our league had anything to do with LDG or his injury. Furthermore, LDG's injury didn't stop me from being interested in Korean football for that matter.

Then what gives you the right to say things like Grandpink, Pinkwings, Buffalowings (I think it's really cute how 수호신s act like they're Anyang Reds, BTW), and even something as ridiculous as 수원 촌뜨기s just to get away with it later by saying that you were only joking? Aren't you the one who said if you can't take it, don't dish it out?

And I'll be honest here. I don't have problems with people who quietly go to Sang-am every week to watch whoever they want to watch play football. In fact, I don't care about them. But I will make my arguments against people who try to justify LG's/SK's move to Seoul and Jeju. If you have a problem with it, then deal with it.

I've already talked about how people were basically being forced out of Bucheon Leports Park in the other thread (I don't remember which one it was).

But let me ask you this. If you lived in Bucheon, would you go watch a team with a chairman who says "I want this team to lose all of their away games"?

I don't wanna get into this, but Park Chu-young was actually contracted to negotiate with Pohang first but he or his agent ignored it. It wasn't like Pohang wanted to stop him from signing with a different team. If PCY or his agent wanted, he could have simply said no to Pohang before negotiating with Circus. Same with Kim Dong-hyun although I'm kind of glad that he never signed with Pohang.:)

Don't worry about me, because I support LA Galaxy myself. Too bad 90% of their home games last season were on Saturdays and that's when I have work. Same with this season. I'm going to the LA Derby next Thursday tho. I actually went to most of Galaxy's home games until last year until I got a new job. I miss going to HDC to watch Hong Myung-bo and Carlos Ruiz.

병신, 할려면 여기서 지랄하지 말구 좀 더 노력해

Write a letter to your politician, go negotiate with some high ranking official, or try to engineer some fanfare via media.

just do something, but please no freaking whining here.

    What is done is done.

The Seoul fans have the right to cheer for their team, and you cant do jacksh!t but cry your heart out.

I really care less about Korean club soccer.

I tried to get in but I just couldnt. They are so slow, too defensive minded, and too obsessed with the result only.

    So who can blame me???

Whose fault is it that most of the fans in Korea only root for the national team?

Yes, Sky, it is your fault as well.

Because of a fan like you, I am highly disgusted to be associated with the Korean club fan.:)
